I've been busy lately, but I'm back again with the non-favorite polls.

Viper...because he was a shoe-gazer and had BAT legs...originated the BAT-legged Vipers actually.

His colors were unnecessary while I see some limited purpose to the others except Destro. And Destro beats out Viper just based on the chromed head.

Toss up betwixt Destro and Viper, simply because of their colours. Prolly go with the Viper because that mold set the presidence for one of the coolest molds in the line and those colours were just YEACH! and that's with a capital BARF!

Baroness was a great colour, so was Alley Viper, in fact, if I could justify a use for them, I'd probably buy a squad of this coloured Alley Viper.. I never cared for CC in battle armour, but I do like the colours on this mold.

This was a difficult choice for me. I went with the Viper because it was the start of the shoegazer syndrome for that mold. However, I don't find any of the Cobra figures to be particularly worse than any other, especially by the relatively low 1997 standards.

Destro. Bad color scheme, made worse by the fact that it took 6 years to even confirm that the variant even existed.

Destro. He would've been great in the full Pimp Daddy getup, but in magenta and maroon alone, he was just ick.

Really? I think that the leopard print, the fact that he was not "produced," and the fact that he was the first oddly colored meant-for-domestic figure to pop up online were all factors that created the perfect storm for him to become a legend.

Honestly, I think that if it was a common release with the rest of 1997, PDD would probably be the poster child for why that year was awful.

But sometimes extra awful = extra fun. I know that I really enjoy Funskool Cross-country. Though that isn't because he really is the best they made in India, but instead because he is just so strange. So while I think it would have been a fun figure to look back upon, it would have really been a downer at the time.

Destro, just because they ended up using that horrible 1992 version of the figure. As I stated in the Joe 1997 poll, the entire year suffered from quality problems. But this Destro was a bad joke well before 1997.
