I hit the TRU in Times Square a couple times in the past week. Interesting to me what are pegwarming:

ROC singles - Cover Girl, Barbecue, Neo-Viper (attack on the Pit) all big-time warmers. To a lesser extent, Firefly, both Heavy Dutys. Also found quite a few Eels, Elite Vipers, Deep Sixes, Helix, and Baroness.

They also had a bunch of Resolute Box sets, a bunch of Revenge Of Cobra MASS sets, tons of small ROC vehicles from the first waves, Gunships and Night Ravens.

Interestingly enough to me, they also have tons of 25th Anny Rippers and Tripwires!!!

Tons of Joes, nothing I need, makes for a sad TRU visit... I fear these guys will be there for awhile.

Pretty much the same thing here too. Targets are jam packed with Destro, Neo Vipers, Heavy Duty, and Cover girl and the Wave 1 vehicles and small vehicle packs.

TRU has an occasional Shipwreck and Storm Shadow thrown into the mix of figures you found, including the Rippers and Tripwires and add in a Cobra Commander with mass element. Also they are still restocking the vehicles with the tan AWE and the Sharc.

Pretty much everything except for Rex and the 2 or 3 waves after him (i.e. Charbroil, Nano-Viper, Night Adder, CS SE, Jungle Ripcord, etc.) are stagnating. I see him and the latter releases every now and again, but they do not hang around for long.

TONS of Neo Vipers, Desert-camo Duke, Heavy Duty, first version Baroness, and unmasked Storm Shadow are all clogging pegs around here. Especially the Neo Vipers. I've never seen such an abundance of any army builder.

And don't forget the star wars skank with sixtits. She's still warming pegs at a rate that will make Mon Mothma proud.

I'm pretty sure she'll keep the pegs very warm for many winters.
Seriously who's the genius who thought that she would sell on her own?
Part of a Jabba's palace box set maybe.

Back on topic, up here its about the same figures that stay on the pegs. Commando Snake Eyes, Unmasked Stormy, Duke, Destro and the Baroness.

I was in Target a couple weeks ago and had to do a doubletake at the number of Neo-Vipers on the pegs. They easily outnumbered the other figures 4 to 1. Between that and the Destros and a sprinkling of camo Heavy Duty that pretty much filled their 30 or so pegs. I keep checking though in the hopes they combine some of the pegs down to a few and put out new stock but noooooo they just keep pulling those damn Neo-Vipers to the front of the pegs to make them look full.

Mostly the original waves still. They seem to be selling, but they seem to still be stocking these same waves. Every now and then, I'll spot a Helix or an Elite Viper, but they sell pretty fast here. Shipwreck is not common, and the desert Dukes have slowly disappeared, which is weird because they used to be every where. Most of the other figures are pretty easy to find from early waves. Waves after Helix, I've still never seen.

I'm still of the opinion that as army builders, the Noe Vipers are just about the weakest offering Hasbro has given us in a long time. They may be good for other uses, but they just aren't that exciting toys, IMO. Hasbro may have thought they were giving us a new BAT or Viper, but these guys just don't deliver, and they don't really call out to be bought in any sort of numbers for squads.

I agree with this. I think they're fun toys, but I'm content with the one I have. Nothing special. The Crimson Neo Viper is really cool, on the other hand, but again, I'm content with the one I have, maybe one more if I saw it for a cheap price. The Elite Viper on, though, is insanely cool to me. I wish I was able to spend a large chunk of money to build up a nice sqaud of these.

The die-hard Star Wars fans. Really, that damn figure has become Hasbro's Exhibit A in the case against listening to collectors. They BEGGED for years for that figure. Oh well, it shouldn't be peg warming long. Apparently, Hasbro is buying them all back up (along with the Organas)

I bet situations like the Starwars fat chick effects how they decide to not listen to fans...

i have tons of Wave 1 and 2 on the shelves, except shipwreck.

The ladies tend to go faster too, except baroness.

Oh helix and Flash tend to be round warmin pegs too, but I don't notice much else from that wave.

I actually picked up a Yarna and she'll make an appearance in my SW fanfilm :-)

Overstocked Joes are pretty much the same here. They just got the City Strike SE wave in recently, and surprisingly it still seems available. Rex has shown up in greater quantities and is hanging around, but I wouldn't classify him as a pegwarmer. I bought the only Jungle Ripcord I've seen to date.

The regular Neos are quite plentiful, but I've bought every Crimson Neo I've ever seen, and am at seven now. I would probably pick up a few more at $5 per for my Cobra-la army. If they held their rifles better, I could see bulking up on the regular Neos as a kind of new-school Iron Grenadier, which is what they essentially were in the movie. But that's a criticism that could be leveled at most new style figures.

So far the biggest warmers here the first Baroness, reactive Heavy Duty, Desert Duke, and Storm Shadow. So far the only figure I want to get multiples of are the MARS troopers, Red Fang Ninjas, & Televipers from the outpost set, & unfortunately two of those haven't made it to single cards.

Months ago, they pulled much of the pegwarming Yarnas, along with the Organas and some cantina aliens (which were fun figures, I blame the high price point per figure and a fickle public for not appreciating anything that isn't a clone, sith or jedi). A recent Q&A reply said they weren't planning anymore pulls//buy-backs. There's still some Yarnas and Organas out there...haven't seen the aliens in some time.

Also, it's said they destroy them. Instead of sending them to close-out stores? Doesn't make much sense to me.
