Interesting G.I.Joes at Tuesday Morning

Stopped into Tuesday Morning today just for the heck of it.

They had a handful of some very interestingly-packaged Joes. I'm reasonably certain these were on Canadian packaging. Perhaps one of our Canadian members can verify?

These were 25th-Anniversary packaging, in other words, pre-movie.

G.I.Joe cards had Flint, Beach-Head, and Scarlett on the front.

Cobra cards had Cobra Commander, Trooper, and Officer on the front.

Packaging was in English and French.

Not much of a selection -- Tripwire and Python Crimson Guard. Back of the package showed Matt Trakker and the Glenda-ized Scarlett, among others, neither of which I actually saw there.

Certainly a reasonable price -- $3.99.

Anybody else seen these in their area?

Those are the Canadian variant cards. Interesting they're making it to the states.

I bought some nija vipers and a cobra trooper at Tuesday mornings here in San Diego. Also the filecards are in english and french.

I saw a Python CG at AJ Wright(http://www.TJX.com) a couple of weeks ago for $3. I know I should have gotten it but the checkout line was horrendous!

I just picked up 2xred divers for 8 bucks. Pretty much the cost of 1 back in march. I passed on a cc (with element) and a tripwire and left another diver on the pegs

they also had a dr Henry jones. Did anybody still need him?

And pretty dang far into the States seeing as I'm in southern Arizona...

Obviously from the responses, this is not a unique phenomenon. Anybody turned up that blue-and-white uniformed Scarlett at any of these outlets?

Coincidentally, I wandered into Tues. Morning today and foudn the same figures as Trekker. I grabbed at Tripwire, Cobra Diver, and Python CG.

No Joes at TM today. I did find a couple DCIH figures I hadn't seen before. Picked up the Atom, Batwoman, and Wildcat. No Hush or Question. If anyone sees them pm me.
