Rise of cobra figures rolled back at Wal Mart

If the stores in your area are anything like those here in Central Illinois they’re sitting on a GLUT of “Rise of Cobra” figures and vehicles. After stocking the line late and seemingly over-ordering the first few waves, the nation’s largest retailer finally seems to have taken a more proactive strategy. As of this morning, “Rise of Cobra” figures are on “Roll-back” from $7.88 to $5.00!

Hopefully this puts a dent in the growing piles of Desert Attack Dukes, Accelerator Suit Ripcords, Neo-Vipers, Destro’s, and Baroness figures that are clogging the pegs locally.

Of course they roll back now, when I was there on Saturday it was still $7.88. :verymad:

Just got back from one of them near me and they where 6.00 now they to are 5.00

So, Target, WalMart...now only Toys R Us needs to fall into line. And sooner or later, they will.

Got mine at Target for $6. I don't see TRU doing this any time soon

They were $6 Friday, another $1 drop is definately cool, might pick up more fodder at the $5 price.

Grrr.... a. If my Walmart dropped the price, it'll annoy me because I was just there a week ago and got a figure at 7.88. b. If they didn't (which is likely around here) then I'll be annoyed because it's just not fair... LOL

This is great because the Target near me raised the figures back to 7.98.

Went to Grand Island, NE this morning, which is my nearest Wal-Marts, to pick-up the new DVDs. One Wal-Mart had not changed their prices on the figures, but the other one had. Picked up another City Strike Snake Eyes for $5. It was hard to leave the rest of the wave and part of the last wave hanging there for that price.

I was at WalMart earlier today, not only were the the figs $5, but the PIT was down to 76, so was the Clone Wars Turbo Tank.
