Tonight I just thought of something funny. Both GIJOE and Star Wars now have new characters named Rex. Doctor Rex from the movie and Captain Rex from the clone wars. I wonder if tis has anything to do with copyrighting names for toys. As we know there are plenty of joes that share their names with transformers. Shockwave and Shockblast, Blaster Sideswipe etc. This gave me a thought for a custom. How about a clone trooper with the Doctor Rex head to make Captain Rex in a movie style (not animated) figure. The Dr Rex head is bald and has scars, perfect for a clone leader. Or putting the Captain Rex head on a Dr Rex body to make an animated style Dr Rex? If anyone out there can make it happen please post a pic. |

Methinks someone important at Hasbro has a kid named Rex. Either that or an extreme fascination with Tyrannosaurs. |

Clone Wars Rex has nothing to do with Hasbro... That's a Lucasfilm character and name |
