I've pretty much ignored Infinite Heroes because I detest the T-crotches and they're all midgets compared to my Joe and Marvel figures.

But if you look at these day 2 photos, you can see what appear to be a few Infinite Heroes-scale figures (including Batman) with the Wolverine Origins style ball joint hips.

Is this a move the entire line is making? If so, I could see myself picking up some core characters and finding a workaround for the height issue.

Hmm...it does look that way. The figures facing away from the camera have the same construction it appears. If they used this construction from the get-go, I would have actually bothered to buy the few DC characters I do care about. I hope it is line wide, because it would definitely improve sales. That Batman looks amazing by the way. Hope they go back and redo Green Arrow.

Yes they are! :-D
It's a Target exclusive 6 pack.

The new hips will probably be in much later waves. I do hope they re-do some more figures from the early DCIH days(Black Lightning is another one coming.)

If they're going to finally get with the modern day figure construction, I'll start buying some of the DC/Mattel stuff. The crappy look of the other figures is what kept me from buying and even with them on clearance now I don't want the old style figures.

Are they any bigger? Bats there looks to be a decent size but I can't quite tell. New hips or not if they're all tiny then I don't need them.

If only they'd add swivel wrists and make the hands less cavemanish (if that's even a word). I really like the DCIH. They've approached some characters I never thought I'd see in 3.75 form. Just wish the were easy to find. Still haven't seen Hush to this day.

Yes the next molds do have swivel wrists.
Are you kidding? My Meijer has tons of Hush figures. Along with Black Adam, Manhunter robots, Qwardian Weaponers, Black Hand, & of course the always available Shazam!
Another Meijer nearby has tons of Batman, Batwoman, Star Sapphire, Power Girl, & some others.

Grodd is Mallah with a different head, none the less i will get him, some of these figures are looking good, the new hawkman seems cool, think Psycho Pirate has "Joe" hips ? Hopefully Mattel will keep up with this line and modernize them more, as far as articulation goes.

That six pack is pretty great. It looks like Hawkman still has the t-crotch. I hope Pres Luther doesn't. His suit doesn't have pin strips.

I just got Mallah. He isn't going to be Grodd because his bandolier is sculpted on. These should be out this week because the DVD is to be released Tuesday.
Is mattycollector.com the only way to get Psycho Pirate & the 3 others? http://www.mattycollector.com/store/matty/en_US/DisplayProductDetailsPage/productID.149131800

Yeah I just got Mallah the other day too and I just saw the Grodd 6-pack at Target lastnight, and they are different.

Mallah's sculpt looks WAY better than Grodd's. Much more detail.

If Grodd had been a similar head and chest sculpt as Mallah, just without the bandolier and berret, I probably would have gotten multiples of him. But as he is, straight from the pack, he looks like "LASER BLAST", and I'm passing big time.

Just like some of the recent MU stuff these new Target exclusive Public Enemies sets have a few Q&A problems.
Did they just drop the Q&A departments?
I managed to find a decent Captain Atom set.

I saw the new six pack, almost got it, but Grodd was horrible. Also they were still really small.

Not smaller than ARAH Joes...

I like them a lot better than the first ones.

I found the Public Enemies exclusives at my Target Friday. There were various quality problems with them.
I did find a decent Capt. Atom set. Ironically that is the best set since it has 3 new figure sculpts.

Today I got the Superman 3 pack. His head moves up & down slightly. Not sure if that is intentional or a fluke but it works well. Plus Power Girl has a much better paint job even though it is just a repaint.
