This is the HISS from Resolute and the RoC video game. I think this thing is pretty bad-ass. It seems like it would be a bit bigger than the regular HISS judging by the size of the turret on the back. I'd love to see this made into a toy.

Yeah. I think the new Hiss, the scout Hiss and CC mini Hiss all borrow elements from the one see in Resolute and ROC The Game.

There's no way they can do a Resolute HISS in toy form, not without extensive mods to make it smaller. Done to-scale like that, it'd cost more than the ROC Night Raven.

I'll be happy with the ROC HISS's design, along with the HISS Scout.

That RoC HISS look vaguely like the front of a S6 Dragonhawk glommed onto some treads to anyone else?

Hmm... You're right... it even has the weapon peg holes on the sides!

In one respect I like that the drawing has a more realistic aresenal for a tank than any previous Cobra tank. That being said, its a bit too much - and unplausible. The toy is more "realistic". No matter the final product I';; be sure to buy one.

I'm guaging the turret on this thing to be about the size of that on the LAV-25. With that as a starting point, I compared my 1:18 scale LAV-25 to the HISS II and it really wouldn't be much bigger, about 1/2, 2/3 the length of the LAV-25. I could see an actual toy of this being made just a bit smaller with the commander's hatch on the turret not off to the side but taking up the whole turret, simialr to the turret of the first HISS, little more plausable in design for a toy that way. Then the front armor could open up to reveal a driver's compartment. Even with the gatling gun.

What is that thing that HypnoHuslter posted? Looks like a HISS escaped the Joe drawing boards and was picked up by the SW guys for a Clone Wars era vehicle.

It's the Rise Of Cobra HISS prototype.

It may be changed, this looks like an early design reusing older parts, as some have noted, it looks like it uses the cockpit area of the Sigma Six Dragonhawk...

I do prefer its overall design to the Resolute HISS, though. HISS stands for HIgh-Speed Sentry. The Resolute design looks like a big slow tank on account of how huge it is... this one is small, slender and streamlined, perfect for high speed assaults.

Yeah, the pic I posted is a proto/mockup. The actual one will probably look like that, but not exactly. Probably see something closer to the final product at Toy Fair.

The Resolute HISS was more of a heavy invasion suppression system. ;)

I really like that POC HISS. It's got kind of a sleek sinister look. I generally keep my vehicle purchases few and far between, but I do want to get that HISS.

They showed that hiss at the con during the hasbro panel, the way it is shown there it is actually in it's "secondary" mode. the entire body pops up and is able to rotate 360 degrees.

The Resolute HISS design is pretty cool, unitl you get to those missile launchers on the back of the turret. That's overkill...very late 80s/early 90s esque. Personally, I'd like it more if they ditched those and left the rest...it would seem a more feasible design were that the case.

There is a pic I took of the schematic art they had on the side of the display at the con. I find it interesting that it includes a figure for size comparison that looks suspiciously like Resolute Duke. They must have has Resolute on the brain in some capacity, despite the fact that this isn't labeled Resolute.

I'd like to see some sort of conversion by one of the guys here once it comes out.
