I'm looking forward to seeing the next batch of 1:18 goodies. Have you thought about improving some of the older product for the next wave? Some changes I would like to see are:

Katana - made a little thicker with a more life-like blade sculpt. I would order a bunch of these! The current version is kinda small and does not like to stay in figures hands, plus the blade gets oddly thin towards the tip and doesn't look quite right.

Beretta 9mm - It's slightly on the large side, but definitely needs a trigger guard. It would be great to keep the old one available without the guard and offer one with it. I would order a bunch of these too!

Combat knife - OK, it's practically a sword. It's just plain large. A newer version that fits 25th knife sheaths would be awesome! I would order a bunch of these as well!

Modified Walther P-38 (Megatron) - Another larger one. I'm always afraid it will break my figures thumbs. I don't know if these would be worth the retooling investment as they're not really used to outfit many troops as the above mentioned would be.

Anyway, I'm not complaining so please don't get me wrong. It's just a suggestion. And on a side note, thanks for all that you do. Marauder Gun Runners is certainly one of the best things to ever happen to action figure collecting and customizing!

the only of those complaints i agree with is the sword, but then I am swimming in hasbro swords with even more to come so I am not too worried about it.

If I recall the Megatron gun is the only weapon that didn't sell that well, so I am sure modifying it for resell isn't really an option. Also is it ARAH figures you are worried about? I only ask because it fits nicely in most of my 25th figures hands and was fine in my JvC era figures hands as well.

I think the M9, P38, G36 and XM8 are all deserving of a revisit. The later 3 hopefully made modular.
Well I hope MJ lets us in on what he has planned for wave 6 soon.

The XM8 does seem a little large. The real one is highly modular, with configurations ranging from one with an extended barrel, all the way down to the compact carbine which is about the size of a large sub machine gun. I'd love to see some of the other variations available, but the standard one would be great drilled to take modular undermounts.

The Beretta could definitely stand to have a finger guard.

Overall, I've been pretty happy with everything I've gotten from Marauder's, so I hate criticize anything. It's not like anybody else is making anything better.

I'd like to see an M-1 Garand with/without bayonet, M-40 sniper rifle, M-2 50 cal, MK-19 40mm grenade launcher and M-14 with regular buttstock.

I do think a modular XM-8 would be epic.

The lack of trigger guard is what's making me hesitate on replacing my Hasbro 9mm pistols. I preffer the material Marauder uses, but they just look odd with no guards.

personally i would love to see trigger guards on all the weapons and would definately buy more m9's with triggers.

I think marauder will only revisit items that are popular (selling large volume) and could be changed enough to make them a different weapon for example the NVR and the new modular NVR.

I think a modular AK would be cool as i am sure the ak's are a good seller for him. Similarly i think the M-4 must be a good seller so think a variant with a different butstock and smaller barrell for perhaps cqb and wholes on the sides for modular torch/ laser pointer would be cool. Heck he could make a H&K 416 m-4 like but a different weapon.

That's true, especially when you consider that his modular M4 is actually his 3rd M4. 1st was the M4 with carry handle that was undersized. Then there was the M4 with shotgun attachment, which is pretty cool. My Flint uses this one alot. Plus the NVR is actually based on the ZM LR300 which is based on the M4.

One reason I'd like an XM8/G36 revisit is because they can use alot of the same accessories given their common ancestry.

I'd rather he make new items rather than revisit older ones. I like all his guns and swords just as they are. Some don't have trigger guards to fit with older figs, others have guards to look more realistic in keeping with 25th style figs. I think there's a nice balance of both.

More modular guns and attachments are always welcome however. And some more crazy sci-fi stuff. I'd also love to see some non weapon items here and there.

And stands. Thousands and thousands of stands :shifty:

Megatron doesn't sell? It's probably my favorite gun he sells. I wish I was back at JoeCon so I could buy a couple in bulk and mod em into Man From Uncle guns.

Anyone else have problems paying for Gun Runners through PayPal? Each time I've ordered from him, I go to checkout, pay with PayPal, it tells me to return to merchant and cancels and deletes my order, so I end up shooting him a money order.

I have that same problem. It's something to do with the way the state is listed in the billing info I belive.

Hey Folks!
Thanks for the comments! :-D Since Series #3, all pistols have had trigger guards. The addition of trigger guards is done on a weapon by weapon basis, with priority given to how the weapon looks in the figure's hands FIRST and then to the look of the weapon not in use. If we can get to the point where we are able to "re-do" some items, will certainly consider it! Currently the top priorities are "new" items (especially expanding on the "modular" weapons & accessories). Series #6 is still in development (most items are not finalized) and "hope" to have by spring 2010. Also, the ever famous "rubber" series is still in the works (belts, holsters, headgear, etc) with also a spring/summer 2010 eta.

If you EVER have an issue sending a paypal payment for an order, just send an email and we can work out a direct paypal payment (the ENTIRE issue in on the paypal site...but we won't go there 8-O ).

Also, THANK YOU for the support on the new Marauder IDS action figure stands! If they continue to do well, will be able to soon have the resources to tackle the issues surrounding a release done in "clear" plastic! ;-)

Thanks again for your support!
MJ
