Was at Wal-Mart tonight and found some sets called Action Kits. They're similar to the old motorized action packs the Joe line had (one of them even appears motorized). There's a zip line, an ascending line, and a working parachute with storage backpack. They're 5 bucks a pop and come with other accessories as well. I picked up the zip line set, called "Rush Line", which comes with a figure (with gun, GPS or radio, and backpack), a pair of plastic C-clamps with rope, zip line equipment (handle and stretcher), jerry can, oil drum, and a small crate. Not too bad a little set for the price.

Spiffy. Too bad my local Wal-Mart is rather Corps!-free, save for the small vehicles.

Saw some new vehicles today myself. They were $10 each. The back of the package pictured a tank, the "Dire Wolf" but I didn't see it on the shelf. I did grab some pics of the other two with my phone though . . .

the "Komotto" (spelling isn't Lanards strong point I guess)

and the Beach Assault

The Komotto doesn't do much for me, but it does remind me a bit of the BF2k Eliminator, and it's something new, so I may get one. The Beach Assault (which is a hovercraft, the picture isn't too clear on that aspect) is pretty nice. A bit futuristic, and it only has seating for one figure, but I think I can come up with a use for one (or more). The tank didn't look like anything special, but maybe it'll surprise me when I see it in person.

Holy dog crap 8O

Just today I was scouring the toy aisles trying to find a suitable base vehicle for a Halo Warthog custom.

I think I just found it....

And the little hover-giz is pretty sweet too. To the Walmart!!!

Those vehicles look really cool. Corps! may have awful figures anymore, but they can still make cool vehicles. That jeep a couple years ago was proof, and these two seem to show that as well. Futuristic designs, but I like that.

The Komotto is nice but the Beach Assult is awesome! I'd get that and maybe 2. That could make a cool future card like something to go with a Blade Runner custom. Or even a Demolition Man. I'll have to keep an eye out. Man this year is killing my budget!

Hypno, since I never see anything beyond two-packs and the smaller vehicles, I must ask.

What's that set you took the Komotto photo on top of?

It's a pack that has three figures, a watchtower, a small vehicle (a motorcycle in one set, a 4 wheeler in the other), and random dio pieces, fences, crates, etc. I haven't seen them in awhile, but I seem to remember encountering them, or something similar, before.

Aaaah, neat.

Too bad I'm all set for watchtowers (got two of them in a big Corps giftset).

Ha ha, yea when I saw that picture of the Beach Assault the first thing I thought of was oh cool it's a car like in Blade Runner. I'm not too sure how exactly to work a car like that into my Joe stuff but it's just such a crazy concept to have something like that in Joe scale at last I've got to track down at least one or two of them.

I love the Corps stuff, and I can see a lot of potential for the Komotto (I assume they were trying for the Komodo Dragon?) Not sure on the aircar, will have to see it in person.

I have still never seen the Sky Raptor (build a kit) which is one thing I really, really want!

Very cool find, thanks for the report.
