OK, the movie has been out and people have seen it. Which means people who dug the movie have gone back to the toy aisles to grab the figures and vehicles they thought were cool. So what are you guys seeing in the toy aisles? What is clogging the shelves. What is gone?

Convoy Duke, Destro, Attack on the Pit Baroness, Heavy Duty, and the Neo Vipers are the biggest peg warmers in my area. Destro probably being the worst offender but he was probably packed heavier. The Night Ravens haven't seemed to move either. Deep Six is the only figure lingering from the later waves.

Which leads me to the figures I'm not seeing. Surprisingly none of the Accelerator suit figures are around right now. Considering all of the fan hate towards that scene I thought for sure those would linger. I've only seen 2 Helix figures. I've never seen the Paris Pursuit Baroness in a store. The Cobra Hummer is moving quickly. They aren't impossible to find but they are selling.

Even cooler than the toys was seeing kids and collectors standing side by side going through the figures.

All vehicles are selling aside from the Night Raven and Pit. That's probably due to the prices and Christmas isn't that far away. I've only seen teh Crimson Hydra and Dragonhawk once in store so I'm glad I got them at that time.

The Accelarator Duke (the big one) seems to be selling pretty well. It's not selling out of course, but more are selling than before the movie.

Figures are doing well. I think it's the same here as far as what's hanging around. Regular Baroness, Destro, camo Duke, regular Heavy Duty, Ripcord, regular Scarlett, Cover Girl, and Paris Pursuit Storm Shadow are the ones I see hanging around. Everything else disappears fast.

12" figures seem to not be selling. I'm not surprised really.

The crazy vehicles witht he over sized figures sticking out seem to be selling. The "gear" too but not extremely well. The 6" figure that look like a more cartoonish Sigma 6 seem to have a fair amount of popularity. Also it looks like kids are getting the G.I.Joe backpacks, lunchboxes, and other school supply as well as birthday and gift wrap is selling.

The army builders were all bought up at TRU during the 2for10 deal, so the only thing left is Cobra Commander, unmasked Stormshadow, and a few Joes.

Wal-Mart put their figures out way late, so they have a ton of the first wave because everyone had already bought those from other stores.

Target is pretty good about getting newer figures in, and surprisingly the Ice Viper is in abundance. Not many Cobra's there either, but a decent amount of Joes. The smaller vehicles are selling out, as are the Hummers, followed by the gunship. Night Ravens and Pits aren't moving.

My TRU is wiped out on single card figures except for 2 Barbeque's, but a decent amount of everything else. Wal-Mart has mostly the smaller vehicles and quite a bit of the first waves, although today between 2 stores I got Rex, PP Baroness, Accelerator Suit Duke, and Impact Armor Ripcord. On another Board, a Target employee checked the number and Joe's are selling, especially the role playing and single carded figures.

I picked up a couple of HDs today to hopefully get signed. I want one for myself and one for my little cousin who declared the movie "the coolest and most awesome". I thought it might be a neat surprise for him.

I've found just about everything (whether I've wanted it or not) at this point, except for Rex. I have never, ever seen a Rex (either version). Really want one, too.

I've decided there is no Rex figure. The ones we've seen are just elaborate customs.

Wal-Mart:Just came from there. Restocked once again with the first couple waves. Full pegs. LOADED with army builders, not so much on Snake-Eyes and Storm Shadows.

Target: The only game in town if you want anything newer. Helix is in abundance, Crimson Neos, and Elite Vipers also around. No Eels. Unfortunately they skipped the Dr. Rex Lewis wave :(

TRU: Nothing past the first couple waves and even then severely picked over from the sale. Waste of time.

K-Mart: Desert Duke or Baroness, your choice for $11.

everything but the newer stuff(the helix wave on) seems to be abundant here. The vehicles aren't selling(except the repaint v vs v snow vehicle although thats around too, i think its just shortpacked). I personally got lucky yesterday and got to tru as they were putting out 2 cases of the new figures, so I got pretty much everything there is that I want.
On a side note of all the pit commandos, I've seen, I grabbed the only one that wasn't holding his riot shield, that seems to be rarer(at least around here), and all the newer snake eyes I've seen now have the grey timber.

I've not seen anything around here besides the initial release stuff and last night at wal-mart only Destro (too many to count) 1 se, 2-3 baroness's and some neo vipers. About 3out of 4 pegs that were full were Destro! i was surprised.

I just hit the Wal-Mart here in Wilmington where I'm on a business trip, and they're totally blowing it there. One of the biggest movies of the summer/year, and they've got one cube display pushed way back by the paint section. You better believe that if that was my store, I'd have that cube right up front on the intersection of toys and the main aisle along with all the 12" figures, role play, etc on the endcaps. Basically, Target is doing it right. Every one I've been in the past two weeks (and I stopped in about six of them on the way from IL to SC) has Joes on multiple endcaps and in the aisle.

Target and TRU are the places to be for Joe stuff it seems. Wal-Mart doesn't seem to be taking it as serious as those two.

Here in LA I'm hitting mainly TRUs and we have an overall abundance of wave 1, with occasional newer waves thrown in.

I wanted to pick up a squad of 8 or 10 pit commandos while the sale is on, but only found 2 in 4 separate stores.

It seems the figs moved quite briskly for the first month, now I fear wave 1 will be warming the pegs till Xmas and beyond.

I've been too broke to hit up many places so I can only say on the local Wal-Mart.

4" characters have been moving well with some being more popular than others so it's mostly just the characters that got packed really heavy in the first wave left. The Vipers seem to still me moving rather slow so in the cube on two sides it's mostly Vipers left and few characters.

We only got the smaller vehicles and they really didn't move all that well until the movie came out now they are starting to move a bit. Same with the 6" figures on the fourth side of the cube. They didn't move at all at first but now with the movie out I've noticed a few aren't there any more.

12" has moved, but then they put them over where the old display of 25th figures were at that didn't get for months so after months of nothing but the same few single packs and comic book packs people just stopped going to look there.

But that's fan hate. People who aren't collectors stop me when I'm picking through Joes and tell me how cool the "suit scene" was.
