Can somebody with both confirm for me that the Hall Of Heroes Viper is 100% identical to the 5-pack version?

From everything I know they're the same. They fixed the wrists on both and redid the head with the chrome face. The goggles don't come off now either. I think the Hall of Heroes has a black gun and the 5 pack has the silver gun. I was trying to confirm this but I forgot where my Hall of Heroes Viper went off to. But as far as the figure, I haven't seen anything any different with the paint apps or extra detail, or anything like that.

Nope there are difference.

The're from the same mold but there are color differences.

For example : one has the tips of his boots painted Silver.
The Grey Pouches on one's vest are more flat gray and other is more shinny. Plus one has black detailing in the Red padding of the vest.

Hmm, I guess I didn't really pay attention to that. I only have 1 Hall of Heroes Viper and about 4 of the 5 pack one.

You know this got me looking at Helix. If she was painted up in Viper colors and a Viper helmet slapped on, it would be an easy female Viper figure.

There's one other big difference - the HoH one is a "LASER BLAST" rip off, and I got some of the 5 packs for $12 each, making the Vipers a little over $2 each. Even at full price though, the 5 packs kicked ass over those stupid HoH figures.

The 5-pack one has his forearms and helmet molded in fleshtone, with the latter piece painted over in blue.
The HOH has the forearms and helmet molded in blue, with the former painted in fleshtone.

Also the 5-pack Viper's rifle is silver, while the HOH one is just grey.

Oh, stoopid. Thought someone came out with a pure Viper 5 pack, not the Cobra 5 pack. I completely blanked on the Viper in that set.

If you look at the bottom of my review, I cobbled together 24 Vipers with the Wave 8 head (the new head's chrome is hit and miss, and the helmets are glues on at odd angles) vest and backpack, HoH body, and Arctic black rifles! *That's* OCD my friend.

What ever happened to that TRU Viper 5 pack that was supposed to come out? I almost completely forgot about that set and I wanted one!
