Viperlord was the first person I saw that pointed this out, but if someone else said it, then my apologies. Anyhoo, you can repurpose CC as the Action Man villian No face. http://actionman.wikia.com/wiki/No_Face http://actionheroreviews.com/reviewstwo ... tyone.html and if you need FURTHER proof of the genius behind this idea, then look to the 3:00 mark of this. |

Wait just a gol dern minute... Based on what I can see in the video, and the images in that second link of yours... You kids got it backwards. CC doesn't repurpose as No Face... That figure is a No Face figure repurposed as Coobra Commander! Those "LASER BLAST" are identical, the main clue to this is that little hole in his right cheek where you can see his teeth. Hell, eveb the "MARS" knife is the same. |

He's still basically Darth Vader with the way they have him needing to wear the mask to breath. It'll be a "Duke I am your father" moment somewhere in there. Maybe in the next movie he'll look better. If he'll at least act like Cobra Commander, I'll be happy. I did go ahead and buy this 12" figure though. |

The torsos are different, as is the chest plate and helmet, but I can't believe that the head, legs, and sword are EXACTLY the same. |

Hardly surprising. The 12" Neo-Viper is just Coil Crusher with a helmet, and the Duke is just the Generic 2003-2004 Body With The Mesh Shirt with a Duke head slapped on. I think Ripcord's figure might be the only one with an original sculpt. |

I'd have to say, Hasbro is probably wanting to save money and just test the 12" figures. Most of the 3 3/4" fans as a rule do not buy 12". Some of us do such as me, but I don't buy them all. Obviously this last group of 12" figures didn't do extremely well even though many were all new sculpts and very detailed. So yeah, I'd figure the first group are "cut corners" offerings and if they get bought up there will be better ones. I mean that's my opinion on it. After all there are only 4 12" figures. |

I'd have probably bought some in recent times if: 1) I'd see them in my area. 2) Hasbro would bother making cloth shirts for them instead of sculpting the damn things on, defeating the purpose of 12" figures altogether. |

Jin likes his 12" dolls with bare nipples he can rub.

I'm not surprised at all. We knew, all the way back to the days of mere RUMORS of a live action Joe movie finally happening, that Leo "LASER BLAST" was pushing for the Joe movie to showcase Action Man or at least to tie into that somehow but that didn't work out for him. It's been said that he didn't know much about RAH and he's supposedly a life-long AM enthusiast (insofar as I've read anyway). Maybe his absurd rhetoric about his reason for not wanting CC to wear the hood because it seemed Klan-ish was a thinly disguised "No Face doesn't wear a hood like that so this version Cobra Commander shouldn't either" sentiment. does the 3 3/4" CC figure include the sword too? |
