Meet the Night Adders!
And you just know they'll use "we used the mold here instead" as an excuse not to actually release Resolute Roadblock.

I find it pretty insulting to the fandom that Hasbro refuses to release Resolute figures and instead recycles the toolings for "more of the same" Movie figures.

Meh. In this case, I actually prefer this usage of the mold. I mean, come on! Cobra dog handlers! That's way cooler than Roadblock.

Hey, plenty of people on here have already made custom Cobra dog handlers already. So why not? Plus, the Joes already have their own as well. You could use the same argument for them. Why do the Joes have Mutt? Duke could just as easily walk Junkyard.

ugh, can't wait to see what they come up with for the resolute destro & baroness molds...

and surely they're giving us the resolute characters in resolute molds eventually.

This is a neat fig, but Res Roadblock was definitely one I was looking forward to.

Don't bet your beard on it, Taurus. The way Hasbro literally "dumped" the show onto their website, ran an "encore premiere" broadcast on CN, then pretty much forgot they ever made it is the inevitable after-effect of retailers rejection of the pre-movie 2009 toyline. Everything Hasbro planned to release between January and June of this year got DX'ed, and it's likely the Resolute figures we've seen thus far were going to make up a decent part of that half-year cycle.

Maybe we'll see Snake-Eyes and Destro down the line as Movie vairants or something, but the liklihood of seeing them released as Resolute figures, in proper resolute colors might've died with the post-holiday retailer support.

Glad I nabbed a Roadblock off e-bay when I had the chance. Now if someone would just start a Buy-It-Now auction for multiple Snake-Eyes, instead one-by-oneing them for hundreds of dollars, I could have a happily small band of Resoluters with odd Hasbro defacements on them!

I thought Resolute Roadblock was on the way? Just not until the movie stuff is done.

Meh. This is a kind of boring figure design anyway. The only thing interesting about the Resolute Roadblock was the part the removed from this - his head. Everything alse is pretty generic, so I really can't see them using this as an excuse not to make RB. They may still call him Heavy Duty, but whatever.

And don't forget - we are still getting Resulote Gung Ho in that Walmart exclusive 2 pack, so your doomsaying may be a bit premature.

I can hear Hasbro's reaction "You want a Resolute Roadblock figure? Buy this and customize it, isn't that what you do? Besides, we are really expecting the movie Ripcord in Accellerator Suits to fly off the shelves!"

Right, because Hasbro has a history of not delivering items that have been rejected by retailers.

I thought hasbro was going to pepper the resolute dudes in with the movie figs. Resolute fig in movie packaging?

I'm pretty sure that is what will happen. Monkeywrench comes to mind.

I'm sure we will get an answer at the Con when every 3rd question at the Q&A revolves around resolute.

I would love a Resolute Roadblock, even if the headsculpt is somewhat odd. But I have to say, I love the look of this figure. If the Joes have Mutt, Cobra needs someone like him. I want both of the figures, and I hope that Hasbro will recognize this and get the Resolute figures out there somehow.

Scramble really brought up a good point, though. Maybe we should just be hopeful, because as of late, Hasbro has been pretty good to us, and they didn't need to be.

The Night Adder is a cool use of the mold. I like the colors. And I am hopeful we'll see a Resolute RB. I mean they spent the money on the tooling. They're not going to let it go to waste.
