Call up my e-mail this morning, here's one titled "Cobra Has You Covered!" I figure it's some fellow Joe fan with a weird sense of humor.

It was spam for a medical plan actually called the "Cobra Health Plan". 8-O

Okay, a non-Joe fan isn't going to get anything out of that, but I still have to wonder. Maybe I should've looked at it more carefully to see if it was being offered by a company called Extensive Enterprises... :shifty:

Cobra is actually pretty well known insurance law. Oh and it's an acronym.

Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985

Well, brother, if that doesn't sound like they came up with the abbreviation before the explanation.

And how many G.I.Joe and Cobra vehicles (and a few troopers like the T.A.R.G.A.T.) did THAT over the years...?

You think that's bad, we got a new uniforms catalog today at work.

It seems we're changing vendors.

Maybe you've heard of it...a little company called 'Barco Uniforms'...

I didn't have the nerve to check the mailing label to see if they were based in Springfield...

They carry the nicest blue polo shirts. :D

It wasn't GI Joe based, but the funniest spam e-mail I got had the following title: "INCREASE THE SIZE OF YOUR DUCK!"

I didn't know my duck was undersized... :shifty:

I seem to recall in one episode of the series, "The Traitor," I believe, where Dusty joins Cobra, on an oil drilling platform run by Cobra, Shipwreck finds a Cobra recruiting brosure and mentions that they have medical insurance. When I first heard about COBRA insurance, that was the first thing to come to my mind.
