DCIH 1/18 at TJ Maxx

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I thought I'd throw out there that I just found a couple of DCIH figs at TJ Maxx (for $3.99 in fact) that I had not seen on any other shelves in any other store. I got 2 Batwoman figs, and 1 Star Sapphire. Maybe these were common figs elsewhere, but I had not seen either, so I figured why not. At least they'll potentially have some custom fodder uses, if nothing else.

I certainly don't recall seeing either of those before. Star Sapphire would be interesting to have with the upcoming storyline in Green Lantern. Thanks for the tip!

I think I read that the 3-packs are $5 also. I didn't find those, but I did find a couple of single-packs at my local store. It would have been nice to find the Hawkman set there, as I don't really want to pay $10-$17 just for the Hawkman that I want in the set.

It is true, i got a Hawkman/Thanagarian Warrior 3 pack there last week for $4.99 :-D

Only place I've ever seen Star Sapphire or Hush was TJMaxx.

These are the ones with Batwoman, Power Girl, Adam Strange, etc, right?

I'll have to keep an eye out for them at the TJ Maxx near where I work.

The only DC stuff I've seen lately has been the Batman igures using the Dark Knight style packaging. I think I saw Deathstroke the last time I was in there.

I didn't see any 3-packs, but my TJ Maxx is a mess anyway. The toys are just thrown and piled on each other in the corner of the store. Very bizarre. for that price, I'd have bought plenty of the 3 packs too. I did see them on sale at Target I believe, but even $9.99 is too much for product that has sat on the shelf for a year now.

It might mean Marshalls is also worth a look though, since it's the same basic set-up.

Well, I checked the TJMaxx near me. No luck on Star Sapphire or Power Girl. :-/

The only DCIH figures they had were ones like Guy Gardner and Professor Zoom.

However, I did see the Marvel Legends Ago of Apocalypse SUNFIRE figure in there, the (apparently former) HasbroToyShop exclusive.

$6.99.

So, if you wanted that figure at a bargain price, or were reluctant to buy him online "sight unseen"... :-)

The TJMaxx near me looked to have about half a dozen.

Also check out Gordmans, they have the singles for a $1.99. I found a few Questions but non with the jacket. For $1.99 these figures are kinda worth it. If only the female heads were bigger and the hands smaller.

For the sake of my own investigations and those of a friend of mine, does anyone have a complete list of who else is in this wave along with Star Sapphire and Power Girl?

Also, a friend of a friend reported seeing Power Girl at Target.

I finally got a DCIH Batman.
Its cool, but not without its flaw like the lack of swivel arms and the big hands.

My TJ Maxx only had two Power Girl figures the time I went that I mentioned above. One I picked up, and the other had bad paint. I would pick it up for you, Trekker, but that paint was really bad.

Yeah, that's okay. I'm sure I'll find a more agreeable one. At least I know they're out there.
