I won't go into why it's bad, but it's a bad day.

My happy thought for the day - I finished up my new Indiana Jones style self custom, and brought him into work to show my co-workers, who all thought it was pretty cool.

I work with good people that are cool with my hobby and are impressed and like my work in it.

And I fully expect when I get back from lunch, something utterly bizarre will have been done with it.

- R

this thread is useless without pics
:shifty:

Sound cool though. And sounds like what my wife does to my desk when I'm not there. Sometimes it's as innocent as placing little notes that say "help me" beneath all the loose heads laying in my workspace. Othertimes it's positioning the fodder figures in compromising positions, like the apparent "train" of misconduct going on between the 6 Mutts I got in a trade and didn't have the sense to put away before she saw them.

You're not alone. My wife did the same thing when I left some newly arrived figures on the kitchen table. I didn't really see what she did so I said "Ha, you made them do a Conga line" She was like, "They ain't doing the Conga...if you know what I mean." And she says I'm immature. :D

oh you are immature, man, but its all relative, :)

Happy thoughts raps, which is weird, "I get my jollies because my coworkers are sexually repressed and act out their fantasies with toys":

Damn it, I need to move to Canada, :)

Down here, my toys just get taken hostage. A digital photo of your boba fett being held by string over the coffee maker with the words "Ransom: Lunch is on you" is not funny after a while.

Getting your half melted boba fett back after "calling their bluff" is kind of funny, though. Anyone have an efficient pattern for using a carbine to clean out coworkers from a workplace?

:)

I mentioned this before, but my brother has a collection of twelve inch firefighters (from Hasbro and the other lines).

He doesn't really customize them as much as taking some gear from one to fill out the others.

Anyway, he ended up with a few extra bodies which didn't have any clothing. One was a State Trooper with a pron-stache and silver sunglasses, the other was a female EMT.

He had them just lying on his desk and when i would go in to drop off his mail I would quickly 'reposition' them.

I never said a word, but every once in a while they would be back to lying down with their limbs all straight, then I would rearrange them. There was no trying to be perverted, just having some fun to see if he would notice or say anything.

I think in over a six month time they had basically assumed every position in the Kamakura... :shifty:

One day

I'm sorry, my Freudian slip must be showing...

Actually, some of the names and descriptions found in...that book could also be martial arts concepts/moves... :shifty:

I would love to hear Freud's thoughts on saying something toy-related instead of something sexual.
