People magazine has some pics of Joe figures. First pics of Duke and Hawk I've seen. http://www.people.com/people/article/0, ... 63,00.html Duke looks pretty cool, and Hawk, while simple, is well done. I can only hope the actual Baroness figure looks that good, but I'm a bit skeptical, given the in-hand pics I've seen. Still, I can definitely see myself buying the other two. Isn't Hawk's design basically Devil's Due Flint? |

Yup. I voted for Hawk, although Duke and The Baroness look much better than in previous pix. |

Whoa... Those are the first three figs from the movie line that I've seen that got me excited. Duke is awesome and Baroness and Hawk are great figs. |

Why couldn't they do Duke's paintjob for Falcon? Duke isn't bad, The Baroness is OK, and Hawk is pretty cool. |

Both Hawk and Duke look great. These are photos of resin prototypes, though. That means two things: 1. We'll get hi-res shots of Waves 1 and 2 of the movie line at Toy Fair this weekend (cool). 2. Paint applications and sculpting could change from these photos to the plastic end product (not so cool). |

I feel like we've seen that Duke before, but with a goatee. I prefer the clean shaved figure, but Hawk is the win for me. |

Hawk is badassery. I hope the real figure looks as much as Dennis as that one does. FTW. Duke is meh, and baroness still looks nothing like the beautiful Sienna. |

More fatigues! For folks bothered by the black suits, anyway. The likenesses are incredible, especially Quaid's! Let's hope the actual releases are pretty close to this. |

People Hack wrote: He may be engaged, but ladies looking to get their hands on Channing Tatum can now take the hard-bodied hunk home with them. Tatum is one of five G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra stars to have a Hasbro action figure modeled in his likeness, alongside Sienna Miller and Dennis Quaid. Joining a long list of celeb action figures before them, Tatum's "Duke," Miller's "The Baroness" and Quaid's "General Hawk" will be revealed at Toy Fair from February 15-18 in New York. But PEOPLE has your exclusive first look at the dolls. Ugh, who writes this drivel?! @ dollsOnly 5 stars to get their likeness done? So far we've seen: Quaid Channing Miller Wayans Vosloo and I think Heavy Duty Breaker Scarlett Nice fact checking there, People |

Joe figures featured in the main stream? According to the article I guess it is due to Tatum's popularity with the ladies. Maybe that will help the guy/girl ratio at the Con this year. |

Really? That dude looks like a bag of hammers. I've never heard of him in any context ever outside of among us nerds in discussion of this movie here on this forum. |

You cant fool me. I can smell the jealousy all over you. But you are right, I have never really heard much talk about him elsewhere either. I will have to ask some of the femmes I know what they think about him, or if they even know who he is. Maybe he only appeals to the readers of People Magazine? I dont know any such people off hand. |
