Target Stinger

Target Flak

Well that didn't take them long to say they were "cancelled" for the time being. I guess they figured they need to shove more stuff out for the movie instead of holding it back for later.

I figure it was due to a packaging change. Maybe they're going to package them as if they are "movie toys". It just sucks that Target spends more time showing items as out of stock than actually just taking orders and filling them as they get the stock in.

First off, I don't think they were "canceled", but rather put on hiatus according to Hasbro. And secondly, Are they exclusive to Target? I really hope not. I don't feel like driving 45 minutes to get them.

Hey, as long as the Stinger comes out, at some point, I don't care if it's a Target exclusive and I'm not particular about the packaging.

What about the Arctic HISS, though?

If they are, it kills all interest I had in them. I stopped playing the "exclusive" game years ago. The only store I have nearby is a wal-mart that has been known to be months behind bringing in thier exclusives. It's reached the point where anytime I see "store exclusive" on something, I almost automatically register it as "unproduced prototype."

Hmmm according to locate the item feature.

These are currently in stock at several stores near me. I am too tired today to physically confirm this. I will check online status again and visit the stores tomorrow.

I'd call ahead before you go driving all over town. They use the same DCPI number for all the DVD packs and might do the same for the vehicle packs. Though if you do find them in a store and they sell them to you we want to see pictures.

Found that out the hard way. Drove to the Target in Dearborn because the Target site said they had ample stock of the fifth DVD pack. Ended up being packs 1 and 2. :(
