All the 5-, 6-, or 8 packs. No comic packs and ARAH only.
For BJ´s just look at the Joes.
Let us know which multi-pack you like best and please explain why!

I went with Tiger Force, although Night Force and the Winter Operations set were also excellent.

I'm a little surprised to see the Anti-Venom Attack force get several votes. I felt that that set, along with the Desert Patrol Set, had nearly identical and rather dull color schemes. There has certainly been worse, but these sets were not, in my opinion, the high points of the multi-packs.

voted for: Anti-Venom Task Force - Much better than the rest of these sets (even with Duke) :-P :-D Barricade is excellent

did not vote for:
Desert Patrol Squad - Pretty good, except Dusty. That's Dusty?!?!

Tiger Force - Nice, but why only 5 figures?

Winter Operations - Needed more white or lighter colors and use of the proper code names for the figures

Night Force - bright orange -- at night? Sure  The 12 figures from 1988-89 are Night Force, not these.

BJ's - Boring! Overused charcters or molds (looking back) and too expensive to ship

Infantry Division - No, no, no

Heavy Assault Squad - If you vote for this, you should be banned ;-)

When you look at the Joe sets, none really stand out. There are many great figures in some sets, but the overall set suffered. The Desert Stalker is nothing short of an amazing figure. But, there isn't another figure in that set that I use. The HAS Roadblock and Snake Eyes are the best ever uses of those molds. But, the rest of the set sucks. The Night Force is probably the strongest figure set, but the accessories are so terrible that strong figures like Short Fuze and Tunnel Rat were devalued. TF and the Greensh*t really offered nothing. :( The Winter Ops Snake Eyes is awesome, but the rest of the figs are poor and have crappy accessories.

As such, for best overall, I had to go with the Anti Venom. It had solid accessories for most of the figures and had decent color schemes. (Though, they got old after the AV set was released and other figures had the same look.) The inclusion of Char Broil, Mutt, Barricade and Lifeline (as the Stretcher mold) were nice uses of obscure characters. The Roadblock was the best at the time. So, really only the Duke sucked. That's not a ringing endorsement. But, had the rest of the sets been closer to the AV set in terms of design, character/mold choice and accessories then I think we'd have fonder memories of the ARAH style Joe figures from that era.

also voted for anti venom task force, Iliked the way they looked.

although ,. I like all these mini groups.

I agree some of the molds and paint apps went into left field.

Wreckage is supposed to be black, can you tell?

Never aquired any of these sets, which speaks to how I feel about them overall.

That being said, I almost bought the Anti-Venom set when it was new, mostly for the cool helmets. So they get my vote.

Okay, I'll grant that the character selection in the AV set was interesting. We saw several characters that hadn't turned up in a while. But the color scheme was, in my opinion, not too appealing, and I also feel that there were some quality control issues that were cropping up around this time that didn't help matters.

I think Tiger Force only had five figures because it was the first set, and both Hasbro and TRU wanted to see if there was going to be a decent market for these before they committed too much to them. That's just a guess, by the way.

One thing I really liked about the Night Force set, that I know some people didn't, was turning the Tracker figure into ACTION MAN. I just thought the inclusion of that character in the G.I.Joe universe was cool.

Overall, I have to say I enjoyed the sets, as it was a generally good means of continuing the traditional-style figures during the newsculpt era.

Action Man if OK by me...except for the fact that he cost us a Night Force Tracker. The NF Tracker would have been awesome and probably would have made the NF a much more appreciated set. Action Man was cool, but he didn't live up to what the Tracker was supposed to be. Sure, you can get NF Trackers now, but they are expensive and somewhat hard to find. I think most collectors would have preferred to at least have another shot at a top notch Tracker repaint that, for some reason, Hasbro refused to provide in later sets.

Yeah, a Night Force Tracker would've been cool. Another somewhat obscure character who only had one prior version, but for me, it was a fair trade off.

And I've seen those NF Trackers on eBay. Way too expensive, although I think I'd been pretty tempted nevertheless if the pants matched better. The light grey doesn't quite work.

Tiger Force!
Jinx, Wreckage and Dial Tone are fine repaints. Of all multi-figure packs, this pack is the only one with three figures I actually like. The rest are fodder.
Too bad the producers of the Infantry soldiers didn't use alot of imagination with their heads. If they all had different heads and more unobtrusive weapons they would've been perfect.

I went with NightForce, since that one gave me the most fodder to use, but I have to admit I loved that AV set. The use of helmets with names on them. That was very nice.
