The Chap Mei Adventure Heroes are starting to show up in England. Managed to snag the Tomb Protector Playset. Might get the set with the scarab and scarab flying machine in a couple of weeks. I mainly want that one for the Anubis figure and the sarcophagus. Got it from Tesco for GBP £10. They also had some of the double figure packs, the motorbike and sidecar and the red guy with the giant snake.

Couple of pics:

Quick review:

Camel and figure: actually a dromedary. The figure is better posed on teh saddle as his feet a a mile apart when you take him off. The camel itself is very nicely sculpted, but has no articulation on the legs and is larger than 1:18. The saddle is one piece and none of teh accessories come off. The head and neck push down, but spring straight back into the original position.
Overall: 7/10. Just on the overall look of this piece.

Bomani figure(the red guy): Very nicely sculpted as you would expect from Chap Mei. Great accessories; two axes, a gorgeous shield and a scorpion claw for his left arm. The articulation lets it down; neck, shoulders and waist only, with shoulder joints swivel. No hip joints. What makes up for this is that the figure comes apart at teh waist and the upper half attaches on to the scorpion very well.
Overall: 5/10

Scorpion: what isn;t to like about a giant scorpion toy? ;D It looks fantastic and the paint job just sets it off nicely. The tail is on a ball joint and is just stiff enough to hold it in position. There is an unobtrusive button on the back to make the claw arms to close together.
Overall: 10/10

Sarcophagus: I have been to Egypt 3 times and spent many happy hours in the British Museum and the Egypt wing of the Manchester University museum. This is about as good as you get for a toy sarcophagus. Even opens up. Slightly bigger than 1:18, but I will completely forgive that because of the sculpting on it.
Overall: 10/10

That sarcophagus would be the perfect companion piece to Montezuma's Skeleton! ;-)

I was thinking more of the Mummy figure that came with the MacFarlane playset a few years ago. The Montezuma figure would look a bit small unless you made an inner coffin for it.

That is the biggest camel I've ever seen. I love it.

"Sallah, I said no camels! That's one camel...one ridiculously oversized camel; can't you count?"

Grrrr!!! No AH stuff at my Tesco. They sold all the Viking stuff and most of the Wild West stuff also. They did have the WW stagecoach though. That was pretty sweet.

The sarcophagus is pretty awesome. I know at MichToy.com, they have a 1:18 sarcophagus that actually comes with a mummy inside. Were it a different time($), or I was doing an tomb explorer diostory, there's the place to go a 1:18 mummy.

Speaking of which, I know others here are trying to amasse relics. You know, some of the other older toylines have relics that might be interesting too. I think the Lara Croft Monkey Idol came with a miniature Illuminata Eye relic. The Japanese gashapon by Furuta for the samurai series came with relics from Japanese antiquity. Even the CORPS! sets had Incan masks, sabertooth tiger skeletons trapped in permafrost, and stuff.

Do the Chap Mei sets have anything similar? I mean, aside from the above set.
