Get used to it Joe-Joe...anytime you have a good idea, and put it out on the 'net, expect some one to jump on it, and try to find a way to do it for less.
All I can suggest is to accept it, don't let it affect you, and keep on doing your own thing. If you let something like this get to you, it'll really mess with you and eventually start to affect your own work.
It's part of business unfortunately, and it does suck. Just do your best work and concentrate on what you're doing.
I had a friend of mine who liked to customize super-hero figures. And he wasn't even on the Net at the time. And he got seriously freaked out after a while.
He did an action figure of Superboy (he was a Young Justice fan at the time). Right after he made this figure, the company made a Superboy. Then he did Impulse. Right after this, the company made Impulse. He started getting pretty annoyed. So he came up with a character of his own design, sort of a "different Robin" named "Bluebird". He basically took a Robin figure, painted the red portions dark blue, and turned the "R" into a "B". He said, "They can't very well copy THIS!"
Right after that, they came out with a Robin figure in a dark blue tunic. Didn't call it Bluebird, but enough was enough. That was his last custom.
