Haven't seen this posted here yet. Looks like there will be more TRU-Exclusive 5-packs coming:

They didn't use the fixed wrists from the new Cobra pack! :verymad:

On the positive side: pre-Joe Mercer! :-D Does he have a removable helmet or just a swappable head?

I like the nod to Mercer, but not enough to buy the whole pack for an army builser I don't care about.

Now if they make a BAT 5 pack......

Iffy, I really don't need five more vipers and I still like the V1 mercer so its hard to justify this set, Sorry will probalby pass (which is good with no TRU around me).

had they fixed the vipers, big win.

But loading more craptastic figures into a five pack? Phail.

too bad about mercer's head, but we'll see him elsewhere, I'm sure.

We have, it is the General Hawk head.

This set would have fly off the shelves if it weren't for those wrists.
Hasbro has great ideas, but they seem to have problem to realize them.
They have a fixed viper coming up, why can't that figure be the base of this five-pack?

I like the fact that they included the gold-visored Viper, and the Mercer idea is cool. But I have plenty of Vipers from the Viper Pit set, so I'm good. :)

Like others have said, IF they use the fixed wrists I'm all over this set but with the way the exclusives have gone with this line I don't see that change coming. And Mercer isn't critical enough for me to have to have him. Though the gold visor Viper is kinda cool looking. I may entertain the idea of picking this up when they come out.

There's nothing even vaguely interesting about this set. I don't like the plain old Vipers much, those wrists suck the big suck, and the gold faceplated Viper didn't look right the Viper Pit set either.

And oooh wow, Hawk's head on a Viper body! Try not to wear yourselves out pushing that creative envelope there, Hasbro.

I agree with Chris here, the exclusives in this line have left a LOT to be desired. While I happen to have loved the 6 Senior Ranking 3-packs and I bought a pimp Destro for "LASER BLAST" & giggles, I've passed on every other exclusive so far and this set is on that list too now.

If I were armybuilding this line.... I'd get it. I like the fig and have no problem with the wrists.

They could have gotten a little more creative with the paint though. They should have thrown in a Python Viper.

I'd have preferred if they made the Mercer Viper's arm silver.

But unless they fix the messed up wrists, these will sit on the shelves worse than the Vipers were sitting on the pegs. I won't buy more of the broken product.

If they fix it them, I will come. :shifty:

I am just hoping that this doesn't jeopardize the EELS and BATS 5 packs that they should be making.

Pass. Might have snagged it if we didn't all know that the better wrists are out there, and while Mercer is cool, the fact that he doesn't seem to have a swappable head or removable helmet is a bit cheap. And if they aren't giving us the fixed wrists why not give us some original decos? Maybe the wave 1.5 Green Viper, or hell, even the Sonic Viper wasn't bad looking. If the set were 4 25th Vipers in some of the different decos we've seen in the past and the Mercer Viper I'd probably snag it. No go now.

I don't army build single-pack toys. However, if this is cheap enough I may purchase one.
