I was thinking it'd be great if there was a line of animals in 1/18th scale. I'd love ferrets and dogs and tigers and elephants and all sorts.

luckily for you.. there are.

A ferret came with the girl from the Golden Compass.
and the company named Chap Mei makes elephants, tigers, and bears and what nots.

The Pvc Animals that they sell at craft stores and educational stores are close in allot of cases, you just have to keep your eyes open. I use the Tiger Cubs, eagle, alligators and crocodiles as well as the Diploticus or Velocaraptor (Which ever it is)

Could someone show me some detailed pics of the Golden Compass figs actually? Some of them might be useful for Customs.

I just saw all of the Animal Planet Cap Mei sets at TRU for 60% off.
They come with animals, dinosaurs, big fish, and typically a pretty neat boat, plane, cage, helicopter, etc..

Well, it'd be easy to get the two of each Duke, CC, Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, and Destro, but the rest of the poor Joes are screwed.

i bought my kid a 1:18 meerkat. i think they were/are at target -- shlecter or something?

Going by the title of the topic I immediately pictured a Giraffe in army BDU's with those WWII helmets, and thought you were requesting a line of animals with a military theme.

Not a huge stretch by any means, anyone remembers the Food Fighters in the mid-to-late 80s? Food-a-morphic military action figures.
