These were released here in the Philippines yesterday at roughly US$11.45 Some thoughts: Comparing them to the old Showdown figures is exactly like comparing Hasbro & ToyBiz Marvel Legends figures: Hasbro has better production quality and crisper paint applications while ToyBiz has more detailed sculpts. Hasbro products always look and feel like kiddie toys, which is a negative for me. The heads on all the figures are large, not so noticable with Iron Man (very noticable with Punisher). The joints are almost exactly like 25A Joes, with the exception of the metal T-bar in the crotch. Instead, there seems to be a plastic cross bar in place which makes the hips very tight but also flexible so I'm afraid I might twist the bar instead of rotate the legs at the joints. Some figures have double hinged knees while some other don't. Another noticable difference from Showdown is the thickness of the sculpts especially around the waist and the elbows and knees. The figures are quite tall, around 25A Destro height, so the DCIH figures don't look right when placed beside them. The neck ball is much larger than 25A Joes' so don't try that Wraith headswap without a little boiling first. Imagine ML Modern Armor Iron Man, done in Hasbro's Iron Man movie style of construction and then shrunken down to Joe size. That's Marvel Universe Iron Man. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() - JM |

IM will be the only FF figures I get I think. Even with some crummy construction on some of the figures, I still think MLS blow these out of the water. |

yeah, I'll hold out judgement til I can asess play factors, where is that wall e from>? iron man should work though, and when they release a sentinel, I'll surely get that. |

Yeah, that's pretty steep for a 3.75" figure, which is a shame, because I see a lot of custom potential in some of these. But if that's the price stateside, I'll probably just pick up a few of them (Deadpool will definitely be one). |

I got the Stealth version last week. Haven't opened it yet. The WALL-E figure came in a two-pack with EVE. I think there are three different two-packs at that scale. Around here, Surfer seems to be the fastest seller. Then Iron Man. Then Panther. Surfer's board has footpegs that fit 25A foot holes. Most of the people I know who got Panther only got him because they're planning on popping Snake Eyes head & gear on the body, hoping for the added waist articulation. Hmm... come to think of it, I don't think I've ever seen Bullseye on the shelves anywhere. Ever. - JM |

That price is insane. That's $3 more than fullsize Marvel Legends costed just a year and a bit ago. |

I personally think that looks better then the SHS version. Though they are different armors. I'm really looking forward to these figures. |
