In a recent interview with DCExaminer.com, Wednesday 13 explained that he was recruited into the army of horror metal 20 years ago, oddly enough during an episode of "People's Court".

While his parents were watching Judge Wapner and Rusty the Bailiff hold court, the 10-year-old North Carolina native was playing with his G.I. Joe figures when a commercial advertising an upcoming Alice Cooper show at the Charlotte Coliseum came on.

W13: (laughs) G.I. Joe anyday! I'm a huge fan of G.I. Joe! I still have like a hundred of my figures from when I was a little kid. I have them all on a shelf in my collector room. And I can match every weapon to each guy.

PALL: Really? That's cool (laughs).

W13: My life's been collecting them, so I know them inside and out.

But that’s what I liked about it was that I kind of found this really weird balance as a kid between G.I. Joe and the Munsters. The Munsters and Addams Family… it’s comedy. And that’s what was cool to me. And then I started getting into horror movies. I don’t know, I’ve had this balance of horror movies and G.I. Joe my whole life.

LOL How did I know my name would get brought up in this.
I Do know Wednesday13, am a HUGE fan of his, and have opened for him a couple of times at a local club back in my band days.
I just wish I had known about his Joe fandom back then.

While looking recently for G.I. Joe products for sale in my area, nothing was found but a few search results for someone called Wednesday 13 appeared. He seems to be some sort of singer, or something. Not surprisingly, the Baroness is one of his favourite characters. Wed. 13 reminded me of Motley Crue meets Marylin Manson. Not always my bag but much more tolerable than either of the two previously mentioned or shriek Metal .
