Just curious since Yojoe doesn't have this listed. Has anyone else seen a Stinger with black doors, roof, and rear engine details? This one's missiles also have detachable, gray tails instead of being solid red. |

Sounds like your stinger has been pieced together from various sources. Missles sound like they come from the Pac-Rat Missile Launcher http://www.yojoe.com/vehicles/83/pacrats/missilelauncher.shtml Roof and doors sound like they come from the TRU Rattler 4WD http://www.yojoe.com/vehicles/98/rattler/ If you posted a pic it might be easier to tell exactly what you have. I'll get a comparison picture up in a few minutes. Those are the missiles, but this box art shows them on the Stinger. Granted, it's just box art. The roof and doors could possibly be from a Rattler, but I doubt the engine details are. |

The box art for the US release uses the same image with the 2 toned missiles as well the pic of the toy on the back of the box. However, I do not believe it was ever actually released with those missiles in any country. I could be wrong. It has happened twice. Kama |

Parts could have also come from the UK Cobra Attack Jeep. But I think Kamakura is right that the doors and engine detail came from the Rattler. |

The UK Jeep has gray parts. |

Tiger Force, uh Stinger thing (Tiger Paw?) also had black roof and doors, so you could have those on there. that may actually be a bit more likely than the Rattler 4x4 come to think of it... |

No, that was the first thing I checked. The VAMP and Tiger Sting have a sunroof over the driver. |

UK Variation also came with different wheels as well. As far as the doors, I think Kamakura nailed it. |

I was a lazy bum when it came to vehicle variations. Sorry. This is actually the Stinger mail-in and a legit US variation. I'd double check to make sure yours is the same as mine, but I gave mine to my brother a long time ago. Yeah, the parts you have could have been pulled from elsewhere, but the US mail-in had black doors, roof, and rear panels. |

This is most likely as Pat said, the US Mail-in variation Stinger Jeep. Here is a link to a picture of mine (I opened it myself a few years ago, and the strange thing is it came with the Stinger instruction sheet, and the Road Toad instruction sheet..) http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/pho ... 7083KVYeHt |

I have been schooled. I have never seen pics of the mail in Stinger before and had no idea it was different. Thanks for sharing your pics Drew. Kama |
