New 3 3/4 Star Trek Figures

Entertainment Earth has posted a listing for new 3 3/4" figures for the new Star Trek movie made by playmates

No pics yet. i'm wondering if we are going to see some playsets as well.

A bridge play set would be heck it could be modular like the wrestling figures

If they decide to do any figures from any of the REAL Star Treks, instead of this upcoming piece of garbage, I'll be interested. Until then, it's just stuff stinking up the toy aisles and taking up space that could be put to better use -- like Pokemon or something... :-/

I must admit I'm kinda interested in seeing these.

If the renderings look like the actual cast I think we're gonna be seeing some Smoking Aces, Shaun of the Dead (Hot Fuzz/Run, Fatboy, Run), Harold and Kumar, and POTC TBP, and Heroes customs.

Until he watches the trailer and changes his mind. It looks like the coolest star trek movie ever.

No mulleted lil khan in the trailer though :-(

Apparently a bridge and transporter were shown at Toy Fair. I've also read that they do connect.

After reading the case pack out, I'm just hoping this is the first of several waves. I want the whole crew in duty uniforms, and space suits, and a freaking shuttlecraft.

And I could get behind Playmates doing 3 3/4 inch versions of the classic show, but they don't have the rights to those. So don't hold your breath.

After seeing the trailer I'm interested in seeing what the figures are going to look like and if they are cool then play sets might have to go on the to-get list.

Hey and who knows if a this new movie line looks really good and sells good for them that might be a reason for them to try and cash in on some classic stuff. Then we could have New Kirk battle it out with Kirk Classic :rotfl:

From what I understand Diamond has the rights to TOS, but not at 3 3/4th ....

A Spock figure at 3 3/4" would look like Spock whether it is Nemoy or Sylar. If you want the previous cast in 3 3/4", inlcuding the bridge, I reccommend tracking down the Ertl Star Trek III stuff.

I've been wanting a 3.75" Sylar head for awhile now....hopefully it'll be a good likeness.

agreed, sylar needs to live on my desk, and not that crappy seven inch figure, though I do like their noah figure, lol.
