Cool movie logo, but that's about it. I'm REALLY hoping for some impressive Terminator Endoskeletons out of this, but we'll have to see what happens. |

Weren't we supposed to get 1:18 Terminator figs before? Who made those and what ever happened to them? If I remember right, they looked pretty cool, anyone still have those pics saved somewhere? |

Palasadies (sp?) was supposed to but the failier of the AOD figures (blind packaging) killed the idea. Cautiously optimistic with these myself. I think they have a great deal of potential at least. |

Yes, it was Palisades, but they went under before they could release Terminator or Planet of the Apes. I had the Terminator pix saved, but lost them in a recent hard drive crash. The endoskeleton was really cool, and looked super fragile.

The endo did look fragle but so did the AOD Deadites and they really aren't (any more than a normal toy I should say, I have had a few survive a fall or two). I would imagine they would use similar construction techniques on the endos, but now its pointless to speculate anyway since the old line is gone and the new one is here. |

I'd've been a little worried about anything from Palisades after their attempt to remake the Micronauts. First toys I ever saw with a tendency to self-destruct right in the packaging! |

Palisades had a run of choosing really bad factories. I think, in the end, it was part of their downfall. The Micronauts made of metal broke apart right out of the package, and the plastic ones later it turned out had o rings that melted inside them (ick.). This continued when the first series of Army of Darkness were all made out of such brittle plastic that they crumbled right out of the package. They later changed factories and produced figures that were decently playable, but I think it was too late. Pegs were stil full of the defective ones which for some reason never got sent back. But as pointed out earlier, it's a bit of a moot point as Palisades is gone for good and nothing they've done will ever see the light of day.. |

Quote: This continued when the first series of Army of Darkness were all made out of such brittle plastic that they crumbled right out of the package. All of my AOD were first run (Aquired the day they came out) and I never had this proplem, the only broken one I ever had was a deadite that fell from an 8 ft. shelf (which is my fault, I doubt any toy could have survived the fall without some damage). Seriously I have heard this from day one, bought many deadites and never ran into this. |

I have used three deadites to make customs and never had problems with them. As far as I know, they were first issue and they are still good. This is another line I am looking forward to. |

You guys are lucky. I have little bins full of crumbly dead guy parts. Got a lot of cool weapons out of it, though. |

Weird. My Deadites were all fine, but it was the humans who all fell apart. |

Didn't have that happen, but I saw more than a few plastic Micronauts that had turned themselves into spare parts on the shelves here. Maybe our dry desert climate?
