If I'm not mistaken, that Cobra Commander has a bigger and actual Chrome head. If so it will become my default CC for that version.

What's really sad is I'm the most excited for the TV camera in the pack. Now if we'd only get an action figure of Hector.

Once that DVD pack is in stock, along with Tripwire & Cobra Diver, I'll finally be done with these

Since I have my DVD sets from Kid Rhino, and the figures aren't close to anything I want, I think I'll be getting my final MASS piece off eBay. I'd rather spend the $10 for the MASS piece and camera, than $20 plus shipping or tax on another CC, Duke, or Cobra Soldier. Thanks to Hasbro, I hardly buy anything SW related and it looks like Joe is a once-in-a-blue-moon purchase for me as well. Good job Hasbro, you cure people from being a completist :-P

I cannot wait for that CC. It's the CC I've been wanting since I was a kid. Definitely becoming my default. I'm pretty bored with Cobra troopers, though, and never really cared much about Alpine. And don't even get me started about prostate-exam Duke. Oh well, it'll be worth it for the CC, dio fodder, and last MASS device piece.

I'm already labeling this set best DVD pack yet. We get a cool new 25th character in Alpine so he can team up with Bazooka. We get an army builder with the HANO (High Altitude Never Opening) parachute soldier. We get a nifty camera set up. I skipped the first jetpack Duke when rumors about his inclusion with the movie DVD set was leaked so I'm ok with the repaint here. We get the bestest CHROME head CC which like others will become my default CC. We also get a CLAW thrown in which is just icing on the cake for me. Oh, yeah the final piece to one of my long time holy grails of wish lists for Hasbro, the last part I need to complete the MASS device. :awesome:

I saw that, but Tripwire and Cobra Diver are still not and with my luck, they'll probably be stocked the day after I order :roll:

So it's either wait for those two and risk losing out on the discount or else hope a better code comes along when they are stocked.

I just need their elements anyway :-/

At least these DVD sets have some nice accessories besides the MASS parts, since I don't collect the figures

Already Out of Stock. I think they just make a small number available for these pre-orders and will stock more once it actually is "In Stock"

Picked mine up at a local brick-and-mortar last night. :shifty:

CC is fantastic. Looks like the helmet, head, AND upper torso are all new. At least, his neck LOOKS longer now.

Cobra Soldier also has a new helmet and (I think) head. The new larger helmet looks kinda silly, though...almost too big.

Angry Duke is ANGRY! He's kinda "eh" as a figure, but he at least has the new arms. I'm impressed with the sculpting of his facial expression though...hell I can almost count his teeth. 8-O

Alpine is just cool...kinda interesting how they pulled off his "jacket". Problem with him though is that his crotch isn't fully painted...kinda like the new Zartan. 8-O

The bomb and TV camera accessories are icing on the cake for this set. Overall, I've been very pleased with this format for special sets of figures for the 25th line. I kinda hope they can continue it in some way, as it's provided some of the better figures from the line (IMO) so far.
