I've tried but stupid Wal Mart is screwing up again.

The first store I go to, the lady doesn't speak English. So I find a translator from the fish section, just to see that the toy lady has run away.

The next store I check, the guy speaks English, but he says he will check the back, then never returns.

I go to another one, and the toy guy has no idea what Gi joe is.

If they want to make the toys an exclusive, could you at least stock them?!

I found them at the Wal-Mart in West Des Moines, Iowa.

For those unfamiliar with what CT is talking about: The 45th Anniversary Joes at Wal-Mart are reproductions of GI Joes from 1964. They have the following figures:
Action pilot
Action Sailor
Action marine
Action Soldier

And the following uniform accesory cards:
Dress Marine
Navy Frogman
Airforce Rescue Raft
Army Mountain Troops

They're pretty cool for $10 each.

I saw these yesterday at Walmart, but not in the toy section. They were at the front entrance where the feature hot new stuff.

I saw them at my WM today, on an endcap with Marvel Legends.

Thanks for the info, Joeczar.

I'm assuming these are 12" figures?

Easy pass.

I received the Airmen and his gear set for a veterans day present. So they are out. A buddy of mine who collects only 12 inch said they were all supposed to hit shelves for Veterans Day.

So happy hunting.

Does anyone have pics of these out of box?

Why is there a frog gear pack for the action sailor? Is he not already in a diving suit? What's the articulation like?

Although I didn't buy the action sailor and I don't know for sure,I would say he is dressed in the dungaree outfit. My classic edition I had bought years earlier is wearing this uniform.
I opened the pilot today and was dissapointed that he didn't come with a flight helmet.Instead it was a blue hard cap, sigh. The articulation is passable but nothing like Dragon or Hot Toys.

The gear that comes with the figures is exactly what they came with in 1964. The Marine and Soldier have a green version of the blue cap the Pilot came with. Hasbro's marketing strategy for GI Joe was "Razors and blades", once you bought the figure, you'd naturally want to buy the additional clothes and accessories.

Here's what they look like out of the box:
