I put this list together a while back and forgot about it. Good discussion fodder, I imagine.

Culled from Q&As, here's what we have left:

Confirmed:
Chuckles (!) - HissTank
Dr. Mindbender
Recondo
Alpine
Tunnel Rat
Alley Viper
Outback
Night Creeper
Zap
Shockwave
Flint w/gloves, classic outfit - Figures.com

Possible:
Dial-Tone - YoJoe
Low-Light - YoJoe
1 or 2 Tiger Force characters, but no full team - GIJCC)

Out:
Ninja Force Snake Eyes - Johio
Ninja Force Storm Shadow - Johio
Zandar
Zarana
Ripcord, Cover Girl and Heavy Duty won't be released before the movie, but may see classic version releases afterward...

Man, they better not get the guy that did the Viper to sculpt the AlleyViper. That guys oughta be given the boot to a girls brand, imho.

That's a great confirmed line-up right there, everything I'd want except Zap and maybe the correct Flint because I've already fixed mine.

I would have loved to see a Footloose and Airtight to round out the class of '85 though.

I am super glad to see Zap. I really want my Original thirteen Dio to be complete!

There's also the proto Thunder that showed up elsewhere.

I thought it was Short Fuse not Zap that was getting released later this yr.

Short Fuze is in the Target Battle pack, but Zap was listed as a definite by a Hasbro press release.

Wow, I don't think any of us ever imagined we would get this many characters produced when the 25th line started. The thing is, this isn't even all of them we'll get before the movie. I hope that we can get the rest of the '85 characters and a few more out of '86 and '87. How awesome would it be to get essentially every character up through 1987? The thing is, I'd still hope we would be able to get a few more like Repeater, Muskrat, Hit & Run and Lightfoot from '88. Between comic packs, vehicle drivers, and hopefully more DVD-like special packs, it just might happen!

I know the new comics probably don't dictate what we'll get in toy form but from the latest comics in wave 6, I'd really like to get that Dial-Tone and Zarana as they were depicted.

hey btw, how come we don't have a Generation 1 (G1), Generation 2 (G2) categories like they do for Transformer fans?

'82 - '98 would be considered G1
Spy Troops - VvV G2
25th Anniverary - G3?

Just a thought, probably never worked that way because we have multiple versions of characters across each "era"

Anyways, back on topic - I thought I read somewhere that there were a fixed number of waves before the movie figures - going up to wave 15 if I recall. We'll we're at wave 12 already so that's only 3 more waves to pack all that goodness into :-(

Don't forget they will also release some classic characters along with the movie figs. Just more focused on the Movie figs, and some classic characters in movie style clothing as well. So the classic line isn't dead or done with when the movie figs start coming out. So MAYBE 1 classic fig with 5 Movie figs in a pack. Just a guess there.

still wish they'd make a 'big effin' vehicle driver set for joes & cobras...or at least joes. Since the odds of them coming out with the vehicles are somewhere between zero and negative infinity.

Hardtop
Payload
Keel Haul
Steamroller
Major Storm (hey, better choice than Armadillo...lol although him, skidmarks, and long range would be interesting to see redone)

it seems like most of the other cool vehicle drivers have gotten to come out in figure form. except wild card, mainly b/c he had a good design & the cool machete accessory.

Because using the same terms would be confusing as all hell.

'82 - '98 would be considered = RAH
Spy Troops - VvV = JvC
25th Anniverary - = 25A
