After being teased all those years ago by Palisades, it looks like Playmates got ahold of the license and look what scale they happen to be using. http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=216&itemid=13567 Playsets, vehicles, and robots! I just hope they put some effort into the sculpts/articulation. This ought to be a line with a ton of custom potential. |

Playmate. Masters of the limited articulation. I see a problem with that and will hold back until seeing pics. Not just of the figures, but the pyramid building (SKYNET is a pyramid shaped structure in *At Least One* of the storylines right?) |

Action figures that you can peel the skin off, brilliant ! I just hope they do this line up properly, now we have to wait till the fall of next year for them, good, plenty of time to save. |

I'll reserve judgment until I see the product. Playmates can be a mixed bag when it comes to figures. And a Skynet Playset has a lot of potential...but again, it's wait-and-see. On the flipside, I assume this means we will eventually get land and air HKs...which is nothing but a good thang. |

To whomever this will apply; please take a pic of your wife's face when you bring home the Deluxe T-600 Fist that vibrates. I don't know if she'll look pleased or terrified, but I'm sure she'll have a definite reaction to it. /Terminator, for all your vibrating fist needs. //Narceron will prolly want one, too. |

Playset? Future War figures? Terminators? I'm...I'm crying. And it's in the best way ever. I think the closest equivalent is the birth of my child. If she'd come out cybernetic, we'd be about even. So, so happy right now. |

Pity none of the figures are likely to look like Ahnold. Unless the Salvation license covers the previous films too, but even then I think Schwarzenegger has separate likeness rights (which is why the Mc Farlane Movie Maniacs T-800 had a battle damaged face, though they did make T3 T-800s with Arnold's likeness). Anyway, it'd be great to get a 3 3/4th Schwarzenegger, hell, a decent 6in one (that isn't a brick) is cool too. Dunno if we'll get it though. This does mean we have a shot at a decent 3 3/4th Christian Bale though, depending on what route Playmates decides to go with the sculpt anyway. Looking forward to seeing what they have come Toy Fair. |

Still, we can only hope that they have learned their lesson (unlike Mattel |

Cautiously optimistic, but this segment: TNI wrote: Playmates Toys will launch an edgy line of collectible action toys targeting kids and collectors. With a strategic vision for establishing a solid action toy segment for the next several years, the initial film window launch will include a full assortment of fully-articulated action figures (multiple scales) Screams WIN! |

This sounds cool. But remember the OTHER line that came out and everyone was so hyped that it was 1/18 as well. *cough* Speed Racer *cough* I'm with the wait and see crowd myself. |
