Well as if the 7.99 price wasn't enough for Target, I just got back from Target and now they have raised their prices on Single Pack figures to 9.89. I couldn't believe it at first so I took one of the 2 remaining wave 1 hooded Cobra Commanders to the price checker and sure enough it rang up 9.89. I think I am officially done toy shopping at Target now. There is no reason why a single pack figure should cost that much when their comic pack figures are still marked at 9.99. |

I really hoping that this price increase is just a run up to christmas. Looks like I'll be preordering everything from Big Bad Toy Store now. |

That's just outrageous, but everytime i take a road trip to go to Target, i don't find any Joes there anyways, now i definitely won't buy them there, even if i do find some. |

That's insane. I thought marking up their Marvel Legends to $14.99 was bad. Target must be going for the "elite" crowd. Think if I want the Rattler I'd better get it before they hike up the vehicles. |

$10 a pop? No way.... That mean the comic book 2-packs will be $20, the vehicle sets will be $27, and the DVD sets $35? I think I'm gonna stop in tonight before work and check it out to verify, then stop by the service desk to request some contact information. I foresee some interesting emails being sent to Corporate about why people will not be shopping at Target anymore. Won't this make the figure swapping worse? "Yeah, I bought this box set as a gift and when I got home I discovered that all of the figures had ben swapped out for dollar store toys. I want my money back now!" |

I just called both of our area Targets (Cedar Rapids, Iowa) and they are still at $6.84 for single packs. |

I did notice that they were doing a reset in the toy isle, even saw the lady 2 aisles over replacing shelf tags in Hot wheel aisle. So Im guessing that the change wont take affect in all the stores until they get around to doing their reset for the holidays. |

I don't want to be mean or arrogant, but to see the panic that this raise brings kinda amuses me. I mean you've been lucky to pay this low for your figures before while Joes have been $10 ever since the beginning of the line up here even when our dollar was almost equal to yours. Again, no offence. |

Again, no offence. Lucky? It's a 30% mark-up overnight! And $9.89 is a 70% mark-up from that ARAH line. I still have cardbacks with a $2.99 pricetag on them. If this price point is the future of the line, then it's the deth of teh l!ne!!1! I know it's all supply and demand. Well, I'm demanding they lower the price. I can not justify paying $10 for something that is 3-3/4 inches tall in scale. That is just overpriced. A $10 exclusive on the other hand is entirely reasonable. If an action figure line was in the 6-8 inch tall range, I could justify it being $10-$14, depending on the brand/details/accessories. Where does it stop? I shudder to think what this might do to the Con prices. It's just coupled with the lack of product appearing on the shelf vs the higher price point, it's just not worth it anymore. For HTS it is an insult to finally even get the product, then the price goes up on top of that? I WAS looking forward tgettng Airborne, but now... ...but now it makes my holding on to all my surplus ARAH seem like a prudent move. |
