My vote went with Marauder Inc.
Why, becouse his is sturdy, more accurate and in scale with different toy lines, plus you can't beat the price on them, nobody compares to MJ, nobody.

I've seen in lots of pictures and in lots of posts people talk about how they only tend to use one brand of accesories, I'm wondering which one is the overall favorite. I'm sure I probably missed an option. I have to go with Hasbro, mainly because I know 90% of the time I don't have to worry about the handle being too thick for 70% of the figures hands, however there are some things like the Marauder RPG that are way better than Hasbro's attempts. |

Marauder Gun Runner, Hands Down. Not only is he a collector, who Makes Guns FOR collectors. He also gives you best quality weapons, the weapons you ask for in an appropriate size and handling. EVen the price points are great. (Plus you cant beat the dollar and some change shipping ANYWHERE with a stick) Plus, John is probably the nicest guy you could ever meet, Picture Mr. Rogers with G.I.Joes. |

Marauder Gun Runners every single time for me. 1) Great selection of weapons and accessories 2) Realistic sculpts and accurate scale 3) The guns are pristine, high quality, nice material and are not bent out of shape by the packaging 4) Marauder listens to what collectors/customisers have to say 5) Fantastic turnaround on orders, great prices and low postage (especially for foreign orders) I have made a few orders with Gun Runners now nad have always been delighted with my purchase. |

Marauder. I even used his guns as replacements on some Joes I haven't otherwise modified. They just can't be beat for quality or price. |

Not sure where the idea came from...but I don't and don't know anybody who does use only one single brand of accessories. For Vintage Joes, you can't beat hasbro...Honestly the accessories are as definitive as the figures...Less so for the '92+ years when the weapons started comming on sprues...but even then...What's Mace without his Helmet Mounted Missile Launcher? For Modern or the JvC lines of Joes I think less people will stick with what was given by Hasbro...simply because The choices really didnt make much sense or seemed not to have any real effort or thought put into them. 25A line seems to be doing pretty well in keeping figures comming with unique weapons sets...Prolly because it's just copying what we got from the Vintage line...but it's all good. If you need supplemental weapons though...your blue shirt 6 pack want guns other than that Rock Viper monstrosity, Or you just don't want to pay $3-4 for a gun to complete your Python Vipers.... That's where Marauder John's Guns come in... Perfect for Modern Army buying and Custom work. |

I think they all bring something to the table. Hasbro did some great stuff in the old days, and some of their 25th weapons are unique (Zartan's VSS, Para Viper's FG42 hybrid). Bbi at one time at least was doing larger, squad support and anti-tank weapons. I haven't personally handled any of the Marauder weapons ( i just can't get enthused enough to order any) but i've yet to hear anything bad about them. The variety is great, and the modular parts are cool for those that are into that thing. I still say Hasbro's M-134 is better than Marauder's, sorry. The Corps stuff is simply too large for Joes. The old stuff works with them, but they weren't as good as what Hasbro was doing. Chap Mei weapons tend to be scaled for 5"+ figures, but i used their RPG 7 for a while before Marauder and Hasbro did them. |

Based solely on the weapons as toys/models, I liked the bbi stuff. Scale, paint, etc. were great. If they were still available, I'd still buy them. I would say Dragon, which I think is superior in sculpt and paint, but they only made 1:18 weapons for their WWII figures. Kudos, however, to Marauder and Marauder John for offering up a large variety, most of which are very well sculpted, and are consistently available, and by the piece (which means you can arm an entire outfit with whatever unit you choose). And listening to fans' suggestions, and participating on their message boards. And he gives that extra piece to you just for ordering. Can't beat that. The guy is awesome. |

In general, MJ's weapons are far and away superior to any other companies' weapons. They look better, they're solid, and has been said they're priced to kill. I've moved away from bbi's not for any flaw on their part, as they make many weapons MJ doesn't, but because they're not in scale with MJ's or Hasbro's. They seem to be too small for 25th Joes. They also work a tad better with ARAH joes than MJ's as they don't have some of the thicker grips some of his weapons come with. I actually prefer bbi's XM-8s to MJ's because: 1. They have three models (CQB, LMG, Assault with GL) 2. They're all in scale with each other. Where MJ's XM8 is not in scale with either the G36s (from which the real weapon is derived) or the M4s, so it looks funny. Neither is his M4 carbine inscale with any of his other M4/M16 offerings, M16, M4/shotgun, M16/203, Mod M4 (which all seem to be in scale). But those are minor issues. I also like bbi's M21 DMR (Sniper M14), MP5SD5, Glocks, and heavy support weapons. In general Hasbro's guns are weak. They're not in scale, not proportional, and they're flimsy. I think the only Zartan's gun made the grade. And that's because nobody has done a VSS yet. It doesn't help that Hasbro recycles the same 5 guns throughout the entire line. That M9 they give with every joe needs to be buried. Heck, even MJs swords are better than what we've seen from hasbro so far. The other problem is the bbi weapon sets are nowhere to be found now. Sure you can get the figs, but alot of their best stuff was only in the sets, and nobody has them anymore. I wrote the company, and all they had in their offices were the SWAT sets. Their XM8 and G36 sets are long gone. PTE makes some of the heavy weapons you used to see from bbi, but the molds are simplified. MJ's stuff is plentiful, easy to get, and he'll even make custom lots. You want 5 M4 silencers, or RD scopes, no problem. |

I buy quite a bit of stuff for different weapons so have weapons from lots of different manufacturers but IMO Marauder inc's weapons and accessories are a long way ahead of anyone else. IMO the only way John could add to my satisfaction for the rifles is to have trigger and trigger guards. I know alot of people don't agree but with the new 25th Ann figs i don't think a trigger would be as restrictive as they were on RAH figures. |

From what I've seen, Marauders has the best parts you can get for realistic and sci-fi weapons! I only wish John did some 12 inch scale guns. |
