At Wal Mart today, and noticed new Corps packages. Same figures, different weapons.
I picked up the 3 new 2 packs, the price is up a bit to $2.27 from 1.99.
The weapons are a bit chunkier than the old ones, and way more so than Joes weapons, though not quite as bad as Chap Mei, but still, I am not going to rush out and rearm my Joes with these.
I got a very Battleforce 2000 feel from them.
There was also a larger package (8 or 10 Corps dudes) for $10 that had some neat new items like an EOD robot (a bit skinny and non-articulated though), a flying spy eye, and a hover drone (I think) for battlefield recon. Also some swords, pick axes and a handheld gatling I did not like. I did not get the set, as the accessories alone were not worth the money to me. I was also wondering if the new Corps comic will have a figure line tie-in. I have always wondered what a Corps chick would look like (a military, non-Wow chick)
