So glad I took the advice of some board members here, I'm loving Transformers Animated - both the cartoon and the toy line. What's an incredible added bonus is that the cycles from Transformers Animated are more or less 1:18 scale with G.I. Joe!

Prowl

I don't know my motor-cycles but Prowl reminds me of a Dukati and is just a tad wide in the seat for G.I. Joes, however you can get them to fit respectably. Transforming him is another skill on its own, with mine his limbs kept popping off and it was a little tricky to understand his legs at first. However the figure is terrific and like all Animated figures, is very well articulated. The only other picky thing for me is that he does not have any light-piping for his eyes like other figures.

Oil Slick

To be honest, I haven't transformed him yet into robot mode and quite frankly he looks a little silly as a robot. However as a chopper he's awesome! Love the spikes and the texas longhorn skull mount at the front. The handle bars are soft plastic so you can bend them into G.I. Joe kung-fu grip til your heart's content and not worry about breakage. The bonus in this mode for me is that he's coloured like Zartan's Chameleon and Dreadnok Swampfire so he fits right in!

Both toys are definitely worth buying if you see them!

Silly in robot mode?! Good sir, I must protest. I much prefer the way Oilslick looks to Prowl.

That being said, I was holding off on getting Prowl but I think your pics pushed me over that ledge. (sigh)

First, thanks for the pics as I have been curious about how the Joes would look on these bikes.

Not to nit pick but that is a ram skull, not a longhorn. Asthetically it really doesn't make a differense because it is cool either way, but I personally find a ram skull more aggressive looking.

I also agree that Oilslick loks weird and ill proportioned in robot mode. But what stopped me from getting him is the dual front tire. I almost considered getting him and replacing it with a regular tire and not transforming him. Then I realized it would be easier to just get another chopper looking bike and add the skull to it. I mena what is the point of a Joe scaled transforming motorcycle if you never transform it.

yeah thanks p-luver, a ram skull is more intimidating and is actually what is mounted for his head light. Can't wait for wave 12 Zartan to arrive to get on his ride!

Nice! I've been debating about getting Oil Slick. I think Zartan or a 'Nok would look sweet on him, but I hate the animated robot looks. I can't stand those chins, and really the whole look of the bots doesn't do it for me. It is pretty sweet to have Tf's in scale for joes tho.
