What I found most interesting is the upper right hand corner of Pilot Scarlett From the GI Joe International Collection.

Yea that is awesome. Seriously way to create a more versatile figure. Hasbro was on the ball here for sure.

Too bad i don't collect 25th army builders. :-/

I do like the potential there for the Flint/Cobra Trooper figure. He could be a cool new trooper by taking the helmet off the Cobra head and cutting Flint's beret to fit. Plus with the sleeves rolled up, even leaving the Cobra head as is, he's a new trooper. I'm fine with that. It's an easy skip for those that don't care for this figure.

Certainly not worth keeping anythong on card for.

Great figures though. I'm not 100 % on the Flint, but the others... Awesome

Really smart move with the flint figure. I really like Glenda/Scarlet. The Eel surprisingly I'm "eh" about.

I love that the Flint has the interchangeable head, but I wish he didn't have the cartoon colored web gear and legs. He won't blend with my existing troopers, which was a lot of why I wanted him. So I could have some troopers with long sleeves and some with short. His Popeye arms don't look any better now than they did when they were on the Tiger Force Flint either.

Loving the Eel and Scarlett though. Wish this waves preorder hadn't sold out so fast through BBTS, I don't look forward to hunting for it.

What's with the pigeon-toed posing on the Eel and Flint Trooper? Why is it that *nobody* at a toy company can pose their products worth a damn? Does nobody there ever actually play with stuff?

I took his point to mean that it was indeed an official nod that the figure was Glenda. I.e. it is supposedly a version of scarlett, so nobody was sure if Hasbro really just sort of came across it, or indeed made that figure to appease those wanting to see international figure designs in the new figs.

So officially it is pilot scarlett but the sticker indicates it is really glenda and they left it as scarlett for kids to have character recognition and us to have an international fig.

He'll go great with the MASS device Trooper. I actually prefer that look to the crappy comic color scheme by FAR, personally. In fact, I thik that the toon coloring on the troopers looks so good, I wish that they had all come like that... Hey maybe we can work out some sort of trade... :shifty:

EELs are a no-brainer, these are getting army built hard, so hard infact that I've got carded BATs waiting as trade fodder when these EELs start hitting the States.

As for the Flint/Cobra Trooper - at first I was going to pass but it looks like this may be the cheapest way to build a cartoon-accurate Cobra Trooper squad. I've been trying to trade for the DVD pack MASS Device Cobra Trooper and nobody is offering it up! So this Flint is definitely going to be the cheapest way to get that squadron going.

I too love the cartoon-accurate Cobra trooper paint apps, the white just adds that much more, huge cobra chest logo, and cartoon accurate gun included and you've got a recipie for WIN
