That’s good news, Gunny. Losing figures or accessories can be very frustrating.

I recall losing my Jinx fig. for along time, couldn't find her anywhere, then she shows up inside a compartment of my Cobra Bugg of all places.

That reminds me of my first ever G.I. Joe and the history behind that. So picture this 7 year old kid walking into the local department store and having his jaw drop at seeing a wall of G.I. Joe action figures back in 1985. I picked out Dusty cuz I loved the camo and his "theme."

Took him to the beach that very day and immediately lost his bi-pod. Carried him everywhere after that and in one play session left him out sitting on a window sill/ledge. Totally forgot where I put him for almost a month! Was so sad that I "lost" my very first Joe. I eventually found him still sitting there keeping a look-out, the sun and rain and done a number on his paint but there he was.

I fondly remember that as my version of Dusty's tour-of-duty. He's been a senior member of the team since then.

I still have the original, broken crotch, broken collar, broken o-ring, and all - lovingly packed away in my collection.

You'll never find a Ranger when he's on recon.

Couchistan is one rough place to be lost.
Good thing he had his Ranger training to survive.

I still don't know where my Flash went in 1986.
Played with Flash and some other figures in my room before school.
I returned from school and I was ready to continue the adventure, but Flash was nowhere. He simply vanished and I never saw him again... That day my team lost its leader

One day I was setting some Joes up for a photo webcomic and I dropped the helmet to my 25A Grunt. It fell straight down, off a CD player on the floor right next to my desk and disappeared. I set the figure down and dropped to my hands an knees searching for it. I have a bunch of boxes next to my desk plus a couple of routers and smaller boxes under it. I tore the place apart looking for the helmet, probably spent two hours moving boxes, looking in the ones that were opened, looking under and around the desk. Finally, I noticed a small hole on the side of the bottom of the desk, just big enough to stick my finger in. I thought "there's no way if fell in there," but felt around in it anyway. Sure enough, there it was. The helmet had bounced off the CD player onto the floor, and bounced on the carpet at a right angle into the hole.

Either that or the Joe Accessory Gnomes tried to swipe it and I managed to foil their plans.

Phase 1) Collect Joe Accessories
Phase 2) ?
Phase 3) Profit

Had the scratch built dagger for one of my kitbashes dissapear, a few weeks ago. I set it to one side, so I could test fit something on the figure, and when I was done, the dagger was no where to be found. I searched all around my desk, and all the crevices in my chair. Last week I hear something hit the floor, next to me. I looked down, and there was the dagger. I have no idea where it's been. The paint is showing wear, and part of the guard is about to fall off.

Even worse is Reclinerton. My comic pack Firefly may have been in and out without being seen, but it was not without depositing his very cool unique sub-machine gun, somewhere in the depths of that dang chair... :(
