I've been unpacking my joes since the move - some of this stuff has been packed up since '99 and been through 4 moves - and here's what I've found. My complete Mauler has 6 broken bogey wheels. My Tactical Battle Platform has yellowed, and the missile launcher is broken. My Tomahawk is missing parts including the chin turret, one of the back fins torqued and all the bombs have cracked. And worst of all, My Night Striker (Whale) had all of the fan housings and the fans themselves smashed to smithereens. On a positive note, I also opened the condor, and it's actually in good shape so far as I can tell. - R |

Man that sucks Though I might be able to help out with the battle platform. Think I might still have an extra white base floating around. |

My prayers goes out to you and your family. No really. Toy-wise, this is a disaster I can be empathical about. |

Ditto on the battle platform, Raps. I might have an extra base that I think is still white. |

Losing any NF parts is a heartbreaker, losing the fan housing pieces is a straight up tragedy. Makes me more than a little frightened to go look in the big tupperware tubs I have things packed away in. |

paint the platform, who cares if it isn't original. krylon white will make it better then new, or a nice navy grey to make it more realistic. tomahawk parts have been cheap off and on, so that's easy enough, just a pain to re buy stuff. the night force whale does suck though, it'll be hard to either repair or find replacements of those parts. I re made all the veins and what not out of styrene, they are sturdier, and better detailed, but i just painted them green to match a regular whale doing it for night force would be tricky. suck it up, your silver lining is new projects. |

Dude, I've moved a lot. I know thsi heart break very well. You'll get over it soon enough. You 'll ditch the ones you really don't care about that much since tehy won't be worth the effort to you. You'll let some imperfections slide on the ones you truly like while you find replacement parts for them. But it is a time consuming process that once completed will make you appreciate those items even more. After restoring 3 vehicles from my childhood I got some bargain bin shell vehicles to restore. That is how much fun I had once the projects were completed. |

Yea, this happened to me when we moved into our house. A couple of things busted that II'll never be able to replace (my Wolverine tow cable) and a few things that I have been able to replace along the way (a Tomahawk rotor). I was really careful in packing too... But hey - enjoy that new house man! |

Yeah, THIS is what I want to hear as I started packing my toy rooms up the other day.... thanks Raps. I'm more worried about something going missing rather than breaking actually.... I hate tracking down a weapon or a part more than paying full price to replace the item! |

Raps, its always sad to break a toy, even when you're playing with it, but especially to storage. I always question why we have so many toys, so many that we have to lock them in plastic and not see them for years. |

I agree about the night striker parts, but the rest of this is pretty easy to replace - I probably can get you most of them myself. I have bogey wheels I'll donate if you want, and we can trade for most of the other stuff. |
