I've been incling to make Cora a fire figter a while ago. Simple enough idea. Well when I finally got the parts I told the Zombie Master at my horrorclix games about it and he doesn't seem to thinkthat CC would do that. Differances of opinions Myself: While he wouldn't give a bit about any of his many fodder soldiers, Equipment is expensive. Someones got to be there to douse any firey planes that come crashing down the runway. Zombiemaster: He can replace the equipment, why should he care if the base burns down. Just doze it and build a new one. So, what do you all think? |

Absolutely. Why shouldn't they? "They also serve who only stand and wait" Firefighters, medics, secretaries, drivers, engineers, teachers for Springfield/Broca Beach/Cobra Islands children, etc. |

Cobra has limited funds, and I would think would save whatever possible as any country, company or individual would do if in the same position. Lose everything and simply rebuild at great expense? Or, train troops (Anyone can grab a hose) to pull double duty in the event of an emergency and save whatever can be saved once it is possible to do so. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Even if half a Rattler were blown up, the remaining half could be used for parts on non-damaged Rattlers still. |

I would imagine they would do something similar to the US Navy. Everyone has firefighting training. They do their normal jobs but if the ship catches fire they are putting the fire gear on. |

The incinerators probably have some also just because they are around fire all day. |

I vote yes, simply because Marvel showed Cobra CFR troops on Cobra Island in the issue where Storm Shadow and Snake-Eyes fight their way to the airstrip. A Cobra transport carrying Dr. M, Destro, and the Baroness crashed and the CFR troops were out trying to put out the fires. At smaller bases I would expect troops to pull double duty and have the necessary emergency training. At bigger bases, like Cobra Island, there would be a dedicated CFR unit. I have to admit, as someone who has been around fire departments and apparatus all my life, that seeing a Springfield or Broca Beach fire truck with civilian Cobra troops as firefighters would be frickin' awesome! |
