Leather Neck looks pretty good so I'll likely pick up the pack just for him. For some reason though the Awe Striker just doesn't look good at all in those colors.

The Leatherneck fig rocks, but why another AWE Striker ?

The B.A.T. looks great, gonna have to keep an eye out for him, i might go for the AVAC, Flint in Cobra gear is a must have.

I think that the torso is a poor choice - Buzzer?!

What's with the shoulder armor? Anyway, I don't have pictures, but if anyone has the new Snow Serpent, if you remove the straps, then the torso underneath is great for Leatherneck.

If no one has pictures, then I'll try to do that today.

I can't say I'm in the camp that thinks this Leatherneck figure rocks, I mean I understand why Hasbro went with his "Mission to Brazil" look because it matches the tan AWE Striker and they can't very well sell another green AWE Striker - but the figure is pretty bad in my opinion.

Baring in-mind that I know vehicle drivers are "watered-down" amalgimation of existing parts:

* They've used Gung-Ho's head again, all be it it's the only one with a cap and moustache but now we've got three "brothers" in Gung-Ho, Cutter, and Leatherneck

* They've used Buzzer's torso which is fine but it puzzles me that this proto has the left metal shoulder plate! I mean how do you explain that to the USMC?

* Duke arms again - it's a proto so maybe this will change? Yeah right.

* Snow Job/Wild Weasle legs - works great for them, works terrible for this guy. Why not use the normal fatigues/lace boots that the majority of the good guys have already?

Definite pass for me.

Isn't Leatherneck wearing his Special Mission Brazil colors?

I love the AWE in those colors. If i ever see one and get it, it should go well with my Stargate versions.

All of the Target exclusives have seen/are seeing wide release.

I really like the AWE Striker in these colors. For some reason, I always imagined it as a desert vehicle. The Firebat w/ AVAC is great too. That B.A.T. with the red is pretty cool , but what's up with the big, goofy rocket launcher?

The Hasbro custom Leatherneck from last year look way better than this.
The buzzer arms, diaper crotch, and it looks like Snow Job legs just don't do it.
I'll pass, and try to get the parts for a custom later.

Leatherneck with a huge skull and crossbones belt buckle??? Buzzer torso shoulder armor aside, I'd think they could've found some more appropriate webgear.

Looks like Hasbro wont be getting all of my money in the future. The only one out of all of those that I might want is the Avac and Firebat. My wallet and wife thank you Hasbro.
OH yeah one more thing... My Leatherneck custom PWNS Hasbros official release.

Ick. That's really a bad parts combo for Leatherneck, plus I like his original colors a lot more. The Viper or Snow Serpent Torsos, even Duke's as overused as it is, would have been better choices. Put some Cobra Commander legs on there, give him Wave 9 Hawk's belt and holster and bingo, much better Leatherneck, and with no new tooling. I'd have preferred a desert VAMP to the AWE Striker too. Even if it wasn't technically a a Mk2 Vamp, one in those colors with the gun turret would be more interesting to me than this. The head re-use is getting ridiculous too. It bothers the hell out of me if we see a head used for two different characters, but three is just ridiculous. This one will probably get a pass from me.

That Cobra gear Flint is actually pretty cool though, I may grab a few to pop Trooper heads onto and diversify the appearance of my Troops a bit. The red faceplate BAT is still cool too, but I can't see myself with more than the one, I just can't justify buying multiple DVD packs for one figure, especially when two of the other three figures in the pack are dogs and the fourth is an individual.

i think the legs arms and head work for him, but then i don't use that head for Gung Ho.

I love the Awestriker BTW, they should have given us a tan one long ago.

I was holding off on making a custom Leatherneck to see if Hasbro would make a decent one....needless to say I'll be making my own.

They are starting to suffer from Hasbro's 7th inning stretch. They do a great job through most of the game then get down towards the end of the game and the entire company seems to stand up, stretch, look up at the clouds, and yawn.

They seemed to of stayed away from this the last few years but I see it starting to happen again with GiJoe as they are ramping up for the GiJoe movie.
