Post subject:  Smoley hokes! A catalog!!!
For lunch today, I decided to do a GI Joe run. Haven't done one in a few weeks.

At TRU, I found Wild Bill finally, and a VAMP. I saw the Armadillo/Air Chariot, but decided to wait on it for now.

I was opening the VAMP box and pulled out the little bag with the filecards, stickers & blueprints. Then I noticed another paper item in the box. I pulled it out and... WHOA. Why haven't I heard this mentioned anywhere?!?!

It's a catalog!! Like they used to make!

It's one large sheet, double-sided, about 11x17. On one side, it's got the vehicles, the DVD sets, the new 12" figures, comic packs, and some of the latest 3 3/4" figures.

On the other side is a big dio picture! Hawk is fighting a Viper in the foreground as Major Bludd takes aim. Dominant in the background is the MASS Device, along with the HISS, VAMP, Trouble Bubble, and Armadillo. Very cool!!!

(Too big for my scanner, or I'd have it up here already.)

I think it's archived over at yojoe.com isn't it ?

I noticed it to when i opened my Vamp, but i didn't give it a second thought about mentioning it, Thanks for the reminder.

I kind of wish they didn't fold it up so much. I would have loved to hang that in my toy room, but all the creases killed it for me. Definitely an awesome dio/photo.

Our shipments of the new vehicles are on the way, so we do not have the catalog archived yet. But I will be keeping an eye out for mine.

My vehicle packs didn't have this catalog. :-( Maybe that's why nobody mentioned it, because their packs didn't have them. Pretty cool, though, I used to love those catalogs back when I was a kid. My parents didn't buy me any Joes, but I loved them just the same, and borrowing the catalogs from a friend to look through was almost as good as having the figs. Okay, maybe not.

I got screwed! I didn't get a catalog either in any of my 5 boxes I bought. That sucks. I have to wonder if they added it in after the initial run of vehicles being made? Then again, I got all my accessories for the figures. Some people were missing guns and knifes. I would rather have those than a catalog I will likely get in another package anyway.

My VAMP came with two sets of Clutch accessories (helmet, stand, etc), so if anyone was missing them from their pack, let me know.
