Ummm, I don't.

The concepts were good, but the execution was utter crap. For those that are mech fans, it would be a decade long wait to get some decent ones made in the Joe world.

But for those of you that do like the Power Fighters, how do you use them?

I don't.

The only time I've ever even SEEN one was at the Con this year.

Was that the time you starting puking uncontrollably? That's usually the effect they have on people.

They pretty much serve only one purpose - to fill out completists' '94 collection.

There's really nothing redeeming about them. They look awkward, feel cheap, and aren't very aesthetically pleasing, nor functional really. They're like the Create-a-Cobra - utterly horrible, but because of the low production run, completists (I know it's not a word) pay far more than they worth to finish their collections. I'm guilty.

With all sincerity, I'd like to see someone who likes them chime in and state why they like them. Maybe someone would be able to convince me I didn't waste money on these :)

I just picked one up on the internet. I'll let you know how I feel when I actually hold it, but I like the Technoviper's looks, and hopefully it will fit in my Star Brigade set up.

I don't. I don't desire them, but I really want the Techno Viper and Gears that came with them. It seems the figures cost more loose, so I might as well just buy them MIB when I feel the need to pick them up. So, I'll end up with the Powerfights, but they'll probably just sort of...sit there.

I use them as background filler.

Great concept, TERRIBLE execution.

I just wish I had a few more of those Techno-Vipers. Awesome figures those.

ya know, for that matter I don't use any of the Star Brigade stuff honestly.

the Power Fighters WERE a good idea, I agree, but the toys themselves sucked.

I have both and like to think of them as tools, like the big mech crate loader from AlIENS, especially the gijoe one with the big ole saw. I think they work well in that manner.

Why would you use one when the new lines Defense Mechs were far superior in almost ever category? If I had one it would be to use in space on the defiant or as a prototype .
