Just saw this post over at HissTank.

Thought everyone would be interested to know that the supply of Doc figures has run out. :-(

I called the customer service # here: Hasbro (all other Hasbro products)
800-327-8264 , and was told that they have indeed run out of stock. I was also informed that my battle points would be returned to me. I then inquired as to the future use of the battle points if any and was told "I recomend you hold on to them", which was encouraging, but not definative. I would reccomend anyone wanting offers to include the battle points or thier return to call and voice your oppinion.

It's the Joe Colton debacle all over again, that time I got one 12" Joe in the lamest winter costume instead of the green beret version, and when I complained in writing they sent me a 12" Bludd that looked like a one eyed Freddy Mercury and a 12" road basic training Road block.
I knew this would happen when we were allowed to use flag points!

Guess I need to get off my ass and send in my stuff so I get in early on the next batch. And this is one more thing to ask the Hasbro guys about in San Diego next week.

But is this to fill the orders they've already got, or is this for new orders up to the original cut-off date.

I bet the new run of Doc still ships in the clamshell, on a "From the GIJOE Comic!" non-foil card now.

What's probably gonna happen is the September run is just for the 'graded' Docs that Hasbro will be selling on HTS at $100 each. :shifty:

In Hasbros defense, they did start the promotion in January, 7 months ago, and it states quite clearly: "while supplies last".

Exactly!

While supplies last means quite clearly supplies will not last.

Looking at some of those other threads there seems to be an awful lot of crying going on when it's clear they didn't bother sending off for theirs months ago.

As far as people complaining about the addition of flag and battle points, too bad. Hasbro decided to throw a bone to the guys that have been steadily buying their product for longer then then a year.

Exactly. Hasbro did everything that we asked:
1. provide a cool mail in exclusive
2. accept battle points in addition to stickers

they went above and BEYOND by including a MOC exclusive with a protective bubble! they gave everyone plenty of time to get thier stuff in. i guess not sending some over to lick the envelope and drop it off at the post office for some wasnt good enough. i guess its easier to blame hasbro then oneself for procrastination.

hasbro: damned if they do, damned if they dont.

Yeah, I procrastinated...

So I had to buy 6 Scarlett and Duke comics (all that was available) in January to get one Doc? We didn't start getting other comic packs around here until May. Sorry if I don't have time to drive around and jump through Hasbro hoops.

How many extras did you guys get?

For some reason there is no problem with the Crystal Skeleton offer.
