Would you like to know which of them were cowards?

Fiddled with my Fett- attached the rocket pack so it won't come off any more (putting it back on every time I picked him up got old really fast). I removed the plastic sheet behind the chest armor. Then I removed the armor tabs and glued the armor back in place. I also overlapped the vest in the back: so the Velcro actually went further than it was made to, then I glues it in place. Much tighter fit now. Still not sold that this is a better figure than the Medicom version.

Left the beat-up version alone, but lightened up the clean Luke's heai color a bit....

Switched these figures over to the more sturdy Hot Toys TT regular body....

Nice collection! I got back into the 12" game with a super-wobbly Sideshow Indiana Jones. Then First Avenger Cap. Then I just had to have the Avengers cap so I could give the Chris Evans head and battle worn shield to FA Cap.Then came Thor...Everyone warns you about getting sucked into Hot Toys figures. Now I have Amazing Spidey and classic Predator on flex pay. I kind of want Iron Man, but I think he'll be kind of static and boring compared to my others. I waited too long for Batman and he's on wait list status now. I think I'll just wait to see how the Sideshow comic Bats and Catwoman turn out. I hope they fix Batman's eyebrows and Catwoman's sideways glance.

A friend of mine got me turned on to Instagram last year. Basically I just put pics of Hot Toys and Sideshow figures on there doing stupid stuff. My ID is lmundis

Those head sculpts are frighteningly realistic. The Iron Man Downey Jr. Looks like a bad photoshop where someone just stuck a picture where the head was supposed to be, it's that accurate, and I had to look at it half a dozen times to convince myself that it wasn't just that.

These are amazing. Not my thing - your collection likely is worth more than my entire collection combined - but they are beautiful.

I picked up a Medicom New Hope Solo. I wanted to see this one in person. And I have to say he's better looking in hand than in most of the pics I've seen.
I think it's a good likeness to Ford....

Finally, what I feared- the figure is well undersized. (I may swap out to body to a taller one at some point.)

Overall I'm glad I picked Solo up, I think Medicom did an excellent job capturing the look and feel of the character. Just wish he were taller.

That's my problem with the Medicom stuff. It all looks great but their figures aren't true 1/6 scale.

Here's one that is true 1/6th scale- the C-3PO 12" Perfect Model Chogokin figure.
Expensive yes, but you get what you pay for.
I have two critiques with the figure. First- his legs aren't articulated that well at all. Secondly, his ankles want to give out under the weight of the figure.
