You don't have to wait for chrome heads. There are some nice chrome paints out there.
This one's not done yet but you get the idea.

I was thinking the same. If I could figure out how to make a rosy metalic female I'd make Providence.

I've heard the name Spaz Sticks (or maybe stix) thrown around as a good chrome paint. Expensive, but the results are impressive.

Or, there's always ChromeTech

Sorry for photo quality - my tablet sucks. The braids go around both sides of the head.

That looks like the Tartarus Guard head -- I was hoping for one in my grab bags, but didn't luck out. Great sculpt - and so far only available on the Guard (purple hair, black & pink skull face.) The Tartarus head came with a braided ponytail, but I guess they'e interchangeable. And this head looks like it has braids on the headsculpt itself.

Yeah, that'd be a great head/tail combo to have, imho.

And nice Micronauts set! Why haven't we gotten a proper entry with copious pics of everyone in the Critiques forum?

Partly because I still gotta finish up Mari and fix Micro and touch everybody up. But mostly because Eff JoeCustoms... ;-)

Also: thanks!

It is the Tartarus guard - the face paint through me off. The head came tailless - I plucked the ponytail from one of my blanks.

For those who have the figures, the BFS heads do wonders on the IAmElemental figures that suffer from the giraffe necks.

Received my second (of 4) order today. Is there a trick to getting the chest armor tabs to connect? I've tried a couple of the accessory pack armors and can't seem to get the tabs on the side to plug in.

There's often some paintslop that needs to be scraped out of the hole first. That should be enough to get the peg-out armors together. For the peg-ins scrape out the paintslop then put the armor on him while his chest is pulled off so you can get your finger behind the hole to apply extra pressure. The peg-in Joe vests were always a pain in the ass, too.

Thanks! Bug is an MU Nightcrawler with a Nova head, Bio is a 6" Iron Man, and Micro was 3D printed by my good friend J_man, because that's just the kind of guy he is :-)
