Has anyone tried putting the male torso onto the snake tail part. I know I can't be the first to think of a gobulous custom. Just wondering if it will work before I waste time and money trying it.

The lower torso is way too small. The male snake that they have in the next line from BFS is spot on.

Not right now, gonna place my order as soon as my check hits the bank. These awe the first HACKs for me so I'm gonna play around with them and armor. Was just wondering in case I want to do a head swap. My plan is to pick up at least two of the complete figures each month and possibly a blank or two. I recently found a bunch of marvels Ares figures fairly cheap. "Yes, thank you magic mart for continuing to have layaway." So I figure I will try and eventually use those heads on a few HACKs blanks. I pick up an easy 80 bucks a month from mowing my neighbors yard. As long as we don't have a dry spell I can support this habit for few more months.

There is no "regular" skin tone. None of the blanks match the skintones of the individual characters. Everything varies by shades.

And Ares is gonna be too big for part-swapping, imho.

Ares makes for a decent companion figure to the HACKS heroes, but as AV said, he's simply too big in comparison to really swap much with HACKS.

I'm pretty sure that Leonidas shares a fleshtone with the other Spartan figure(s). Not sure about Stone Fist. The Athenian warrior is a darker/warmer tone. And champagne beige seems to fall somewhere in between those two.

I put a spare Amazon warrior head D gave me on the Champagne Beige blank, and while not 100%, I'd give it a solid 98%. I wanted to use it as a pre body tat or possibly imprisoned Amazon. Also wanted to try a trial fight scene with the two different Amazons and their crone officiating. Just have to paint up the tree bark brown head to look as close as possible to the Ultimate Amazon.

Also, the Spartan warrior heads look pretty spiffy on the Sub Mariner MU body.

What kind of shipping times are you guys seeing, since the store went live? I ordered a couple of skeletons over the weekend, and I haven't gotten any kind of shipping notification, yet. I'm assuming they're backed up with a lot of orders, but I always get a little paranoid.

Just got my shipping notice a few seconds ago for my final preorder items. Had four separate orders that I placed over the past few weeks, but they were all boxed up and marked "fulfilled" last week when they flipped the switch on the store. They slapped a shipping label on it today, so I expect to have them in hand probably Tuesday (if not Saturday), since they send everything out Priority mail. Normally I'll get the "shipping label printed" notice from their postage app and then they drop it in the mail within a day or two - and then I get everything in-hand 2 days after that.

- So everyone else that was waiting on their preorders should be getting their shipping notifications pretty soon, too.


EDIT: Just noticed that you said "since the store went live" -- so I guess you can use the remaining preorder shipments as a gauge. Not sure how many "in stock" orders they have piled up, though.
