For me, buying the Keaton Batman is more of a thing because of it's Keaton Batman. No real attachment to the Acid Rain figures, so I haven't fully developed a want for them. If I were to have any of them in hand and were to like them, I might would start wanting them. Plus they're going to probably be 9.99 at Wal-Mart and Target.

Yeah, Acid Rain figures are just boring bland generic stuff and these guys are Keaton Batman and Terrance Stamp General Zod.

They could've made em 5POA and I would've still bought em.
(plus it's like... the only thing Batman's missing would be swivel arms. And Zod himself has those)

What happened to the masked head?

All of the promo pictures had a great looking head, same head all along, from the painted proto to the early production test shots. Then the one they shipped almost looks like a completely different sculpt.

The ears are a different shape and thickness, and the head itself looks like it's a different shape too.

Still want these, well because I've wanted them for 25 years, but what the "LASER BLAST" Mattel.

What happened to this head?

That looks as much as Keaton in that shot as I do. I also can't believe TRU is charing $15 for this line now. They were less than Target when they first came up, and they've gone up like seven bucks since then.

Amazing how close to the original '89 Batman figures that new one looks.

Hmmm, that General Zod head could be used for a Big Brawler custom.

Not sure if this is on topic, but did anyone Manage to get the son of Batman Best Buy exclusive with deathstroke? I checked A few places around here but they were all sold out I see they now have it available online but I'm wondering if it's worth it what the articulation is.

Looks like it's just a mini 3 inch statue.

Mattel announced the Arkham City SDCC exclusive Batmobile
http://toynewsi.com/news.php?catid=241&itemid=22482

And it comes with what looks like a regular Arkham Batman figure repaint.

First I was like "Oh awesome a 3¾"-scale Batmobile that doesn't suck!" (unlike a certain other 3¾"-scale Batmobile that's a complete pile of fail and suck)... but then I looked and it was this weird monster truck... thingie.

Is that really what it looks like in Arkham City? I still haven't beaten Asylum. That looks bad. As a Batmobile. It's fun as a toy if it wasn't supposed to be a Batmobile.
