Its a 12 month membership so if you join today your membership re-ups in August of 2013. And yes they will get Iceberg if they choose the 3 3/4" figure option.

It looks like the problems were mostly (if not entirely) due to there not being enough MySQL connections, which I believe is a problem that can be relatively easily solved.

Not currently. It is low on the priority list to get restored, so I expect we'll never see it again.
