anybody got the DCPI for Target?

Picked up a blue CC and a Black CC... Which one is the variant?

Started putting on the stickers for the ghosthawk, real crappy and they they don't line up well.

I've only seen black CC so far at both Target and Walmart.

Picked up all the figures except for the red ninja and Cobra Commander- the two TRUs I went to didn't have either.

Saw an almost full case at Walmart in garfield, someone had taken the only figure I wanted (G.I. Joe Trooper)

Someone beat me to the TRU on 4. But I got the only Cobra Trooper on 17. The Walmart my brother in law works at, in Butler, didn't get any new Joes.

I was pleased to see that my two local Targets put their Joes out this morning. I picked up pretty much everything I was looking to get in one fell swoop. Two cases of the single-pack figures at one Target, just one at the other.

For those on the fence about that Cobra Trooper, the parachute and harness are the kind of fun accessory that makes an otherwise unremarkable figure seem a whole lot more impressive.

The bikes are at Canadian Walmarts. A whopping $15.99.

Also the bigish versions of action battlers.

Never has it been so easy to pass on these.

ended up getting the ninja 3pack, cobra & joe troopers, and the water moccasin repaint.
did see the black CC but seems like the blue one would look better. also, is the joe trooper w/ the blue cape the variant or is it the brown cape?

I still haven't heard a definitive answer either way, but out of the four I've seen in stores, three were the brown cape version. Those were found at Targets, while the blue-caped fellow was spotted at TRU.

No sign of the blue Cobra Commander yet.

Braved the heat to check on things...

TRU had nothing. Just those big electronic SE toys and the bikes. Looks like they're not carrying the line (w/ or w/o "sending them back"). Only peg space for Joes was one lonely peg with, uh, Renegades Scarlett and Tunnel Rat on it. Lots of room for Bats & Spidey.

Target had finally done their reset. They had a single case of figures, from the looks of it. Want to say it was the Black CC case (variant? Not-variant?). I think the case had been picked over, but for the life of me, I can't remember what was missing (obviously not the CC). Also had the bikes & role play stuff. Very, very limited shelf space.

K-Mart had the ARAH style vehicles (AWE Striker & Fang), the bikes, and what was left of a single case. I picked up a second Cobra Trooper & Red Ninja, and left the rest. Think this was the Blue CC case (either that, or I'm switching Target & Kmart - I've seen more blue than black). Passed on the Ninja Striker 'cause it will probably be released again next spring.

Closest Walmart had the Role Playing stuff, and 4 figures. All stuck behind a support pole / price checker. That was it.

I don't know which is the variant Joe Trooper. Of the times I've seen him, he's always been the blue caped version.

FWIW, nobody seems to have a good showing of "Amazing Spider-Man" toys either. I don't know what's in what wave, but that super-poseable version hasn't been in any of the ones I've seen around here. And, man, those new Batman toys are terrible. Absolutely terrible.

My Target got these in today. The "good" news is that they lowered the price for singles back down to $9.99 (still way too high imo). I only picked up the ninja 3 pack (I really wanted the Slice and at $19.99, it's the best deal).

I finally got to open the new figures. Very hit and miss. Some, like Duke, are a step above the DTC Joes. Others, like the Red Ninja, are great additions to my collection.

One Target had done the reset and put out a single case of figures and 2 cases of the smaller vehicles with a single case of the larger ones. It looked like they mostly had role play items. I got what I could.

Went to the other Target and they had nothing. I asked since they had a huge bare shelving section where it should have gone. They did go in the back and look. I was told there were no GIJoe items back there but the computer did show there were items on the way. Whether this is going to happen or not I have no idea.

Went to a Wal-Mart and saw a huge are with shelf tags. They were putting stock out so I asked. They said they had no GIJoe items on this truck and "check back later". Doubt they'll get them.

Hit a second Wal-Mart and asked there as well. The guy actually rolled out the cart with the cases of stuff they were about to put on the shelf. The only GIJoe item there was the gun that changes to a knife. Nothing else.

Skipped the other 2 Wal-Marts and decided to try another one further out of the way. They had nothing and no sign of even getting anything. The didn't even have the new Spiderman or Batman stuff while all the other stores did.
